Location

The hotel is located approx. 35 km east of Heraklion, directly on a gently sloping sandy beach, approx. 300 m long. The resort of Malia is just a few minutes' walk away and offers numerous shopping opportunities as well as a lively nightlife. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approx. 31 km.

Facilities

In addition to the 287 rooms, which are spread across the three wings of the main building and numerous bungalows, the hotel features a 24-hour reception with a lobby, Wi-Fi (included throughout the complex), main restaurant with a large veranda, snack bar, bar and pool bar/cafeteria, parking spaces, and a mini-market. There is also a Kafenion where you can enjoy Greek coffee. The complex also has a large and renovated freshwater swimming pool, a children's and a baby pool, extensive gardens with walkways, and a sunbathing lawn with loungers and umbrellas, which are included both by the pool and on the beach. Bath towels are provided in the rooms.

Super Saver Room

The rooms located in the main building feature a bathtub with shower function/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, TV, telephone, refrigerator, a desk, and a balcony with mountain view (SSZ, can be booked under hotel code HER750). Optionally also bookable with sea view (SSM, under hotel code HER750), for single occupancy (SSE, under hotel code HER750) or for single occupancy with sea view (SEM, under hotel code HER750).

Superior Double Room

The rooms located in the main building feature a modern and luxurious design, a bathtub with shower function/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, LCD TV, telephone, refrigerator, a desk, and a balcony with mountain view (DSU).
Optionally bookable at an extra charge also for single occupancy (DSE) or with sea view (DMU).

Superior Bungalow Garden View

The Superior Bungalows have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms and are located in the bungalows with a bathtub and an additional shower cabin or partly on the ground floor of the main building with a shower and terrace (B2A).
Optionally also bookable with sea view (B2M) or in the first beach row with sea view (B2). From 2026 also bookable for single occupancy (B1A).

Superior Family Room

The Superior Family Rooms consist of one room, are located in the bungalow area, and have the same basic amenities as the Superior Bungalows, but are more spacious with an additional large sofa bed and a large terrace with garden view (DF2). From 2026, optionally bookable as Super Saver Family Room under code HER750 (EF2).

Superior Family Suite

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, they feature a combined living/sleeping area, a separate bedroom, a bathroom, balcony or terrace, and are located in the main building or bungalow area (FU2).

Superior Family Suite Sea View

Have the same basic amenities as the Superior Double Rooms but are located in the main building or bungalow complex, feature a living/sleeping area with a sofa bed, a separate bedroom, a bathroom, and sea view (2FU).

Superior Family Suite 2 Bedrooms Garden View

Have the same amenities as the Superior Family Suite and consist of 2 bedrooms, a separate living/sleeping area, two bathrooms, and are located in the main building (S22).

Half Board/Full Board

Breakfast (7-10 am) and dinner (6:30-9:15 pm) as a buffet.
With full board, lunch (12:30-2:30 pm) as a buffet or a set menu (depending on hotel occupancy).
Children's menu, vegetarian dishes, and special diets (e.g., gluten-free) are available upon request (locally).
Smart casual dress code (gentlemen in long trousers) is requested for meals.

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from 01.01.2025.
