Location

The brand new 4-star Pyria Hotel, opened in 2024, is located on a quiet hillside in the picturesque village of Piskopiano, which belongs to the Koutouloufari area. This small complex, ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, is approx. 1.9 km from the nearest sand/pebble beach. The city center of Heraklion is approx. 25 km away and the international airport of Heraklion is located approx. 23 km from the hotel.

The partially newly built and partially completely renovated adults-friendly hotel (bookable for ages 14 and up) features a total of 56 rooms designed in a contemporary style, a lobby with a 24-hour reception, and a first-class main restaurant (Mediterranean cuisine) with a terrace. The restaurant places the highest value on the use of fresh, local products from Crete. Furthermore, a lobby bar and a pool/snack bar are available. In the outdoor area, the complex offers guests a large, comfortable, and relaxing sun terrace as well as well-kept gardens. The outdoor area offers two large freshwater swimming pools, a heated whirlpool, and a sharing pool that belongs exclusively to the Comfort double rooms and can also be heated. The total water surface of all pools covers a total of 600 m². The pools and the whirlpool are available from 9 am to 6 pm. Sun loungers and parasols are available to guests at the pool free of charge. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel complex.

Suite Open Plan

The high-quality suites are laid out in an open-plan style as a combined living/sleeping area with a seating area and bedroom, and feature a sea view (S2M) with the same features as the double rooms.

Optionally bookable for an extra charge with a separate bedroom, but without sea view (S2).

Meals

Breakfast/Half board

Continental early-bird breakfast (5–7 am) and late breakfast (10–10:45 am; until 2027) are possible on request on site.
American breakfast buffet (7:30–10 am).
When booking half board, dinner (7–9:30 pm) is served with a salad and dessert buffet as well as an à la carte main course. Drinks are not included.
From 2027, lunch or dinner can be enjoyed à la carte (12 pm–10 pm).
Vegetarian dishes and special dietary requirements are available on site (registration via reception).
