Location

The Hotel Kalyves Beach is located directly on a fine sandy beach, idyllically situated on the banks of a river in the Apokoronas region. The lively town center, with its numerous shopping options and restaurants, can be reached in just about 50 meters. The charming harbor town of Chania is approximately 18 kilometers away and is easily accessible via a regular bus service, with a stop in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Chania Airport is about 30 kilometers away, and Heraklion Airport is approximately 123 kilometers away.

The hotel, which features over 100 rooms, is equipped with a 24-hour reception, a luggage storage room, and a satellite TV corner. A restaurant and a bar with a terrace are available. In the outdoor area, there are 2 freshwater swimming pools with an integrated children's pool and a pool/snack bar. There is a playground for children. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool and on the beach. Pool/beach towels are available for a fee. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel complex.

American breakfast buffet from 8:00 am – 10:30 am. Lunch from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm and dinner from 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm, both buffet-style. During meals, drinks such as still water, filter coffee, herbal tea, soft drinks, juices, local draft beer, and house wine (rosé, red, and white) are included.
Coffee and cake/pastries, ice cream, and snacks such as hot and cold sandwiches, pastries, ice cream, and a selection of locally grown fruit and salads are available from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 11:00 am – 11:00 pm, including still water, filter coffee, herbal tea, soft drinks, juices (concentrate), local draft beer, house wine (rosé, red, and white), and local spirits (ouzo, raki, gin, tequila, rum, vodka, brandy, whiskey).

All Inclusive Plus

When booking All Inclusive Plus, unlimited premium-brand alcoholic beverages and sparkling wine are also included. Additionally, unlimited high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, branded soft drinks, house wine in 375 ml bottles (two bottles per person per day), and premium beer are available. Fresh orange juice is included at breakfast and throughout the day.
The offer also includes an afternoon cleaning service (upon request), a welcome basket with house wine, fruit, water, juices, and soft drinks, an espresso machine with two free capsules per day, and a daily bottle of water in the room.

Note regarding climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and, as of January 1, 2025, is staggered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room.
