Location

The quietly located hotel is situated in Gouves, approximately 600 m from the sandy beach. A free shuttle service to the beach is offered several times daily.
Shops and entertainment facilities are available in the vicinity, and the center of Gouves is 450 m away. A bus stop with regular connections to Heraklion is located near the hotel. Heraklion Airport is approximately 15 km away.

Facilities

The family-friendly, high-quality, and stylishly built hotel complex will be partially renovated for Summer 2026.
The hotel consists of several buildings, divided into two sections, Aelius & Sensus, with a total of 200 rooms. It features a 24-hour reception, lobby, elevators, the buffet restaurant "Erontas" with an outdoor area, the à la carte restaurant "Kritamos" (Cretan and Mediterranean cuisine), and a mini-market.
The beautifully landscaped outdoor area in the Aelius section includes 2 freshwater swimming pools with 2 separate children's pools, a sun terrace, and the pool/snackbar "Agiazi". Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool, and are available for a fee on the beach. Pool towels are provided free of charge.
The new Sensus area has its own pool/snackbar "Aura" and a separate swimming pool, exclusively for guests of the "Sensus" rooms.
High-speed internet access is included throughout the complex and in the rooms.

The comfortable Superior Double Rooms Roof Garden (CRD) are located in the "Sensus" section of the hotel and are equipped with a double bed, 43" Smart satellite TV, telephone, free high-speed Wi-Fi, safe, individually adjustable air conditioning (cool/warm), mini-fridge (filled with a bottle of water on arrival), coffee and tea making facilities, Nespresso coffee machine with daily refilled capsules (2 per day), bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobe and slippers, as well as a furnished balcony with pool view.

Buffet-style breakfast (7:30 AM - 10:30 AM), lunch (12:45 PM - 2:30 PM), and dinner (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM) at the main restaurant. Cretan specialties and live cooking are available for breakfast and dinner. Optional breakfast (Mon-Wed-Fri) or dinner at the à la carte restaurant (included once per week, reservation required). Snacks are available from 11 AM to 5 PM, and coffee/tea, pastries, and ice cream are included at the pool bar. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages such as soft drinks, water, juices, draft beer, wine (white, red, rosé), Raki, Ouzo, brandy, gin, vodka, rum, tequila, and some cocktails are included from 10 AM to 11 PM at the pool/snackbar.

Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, as of 01.01.2025, ranges from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
