Location

The Pepper Sea Club hotel is a modern adults-only hotel (for guests aged 16 and over) located on the famous beach of Georgioupolis, between the villages of Kournas and Episkopi in the northwest of the island of Crete. Lake Kournas, the only natural freshwater lake on Crete, is just 6 km away and offers a contrasting excursion destination with diverse nature, swimming opportunities, and boat rentals. The port city of Rethymnon, located 16 km away, features a Venetian old town and a picturesque promenade with various entertainment and shopping options.
Chania Airport is approximately 39 km away and Heraklion Airport is about 95 km away.

The luxurious adults-only hotel, bookable for guests aged 16 and over, offers a quiet atmosphere and attentive service. The hotel is a wonderful retreat for couples. It features a total of 95 modern double rooms and junior suites. The hotel facilities include a 24-hour reception with a lobby, an elevator in the main building, a main restaurant (partially with sea view), a spa area, and a mini-market. Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort. The well-maintained outdoor area with a large swimming pool, a sun terrace, and a pool bar (for a fee) invites guests to relax. An à-la-carte restaurant located directly on the beach, serving Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with fresh Cretan produce and recipes, is available for a fee and by prior reservation.
Comfortable sun loungers, parasols, and towels are available to guests free of charge at the pool and beach. From 2027, sun loungers and parasols will be subject to a fee.

Accommodation

Cozy Double Room

The modern double rooms are located in the main building or the annexes and feature a king-size bed or twin beds, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and WC or a semi-open bathroom with a separate shower and separate WC, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, toiletries, scales, vanity mirror, and ironing equipment (on request). They are also equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning, a safe, a mini-bar (1 small bottle of water per person/day included, further refills for a fee), telephone, 42-inch LED satellite TV, Nespresso machine (2 capsules included), as well as a balcony or terrace with garden view (D).
Optionally bookable for single use (DE).

Cozy Double Room Beachfront

With the same facilities as the double rooms, these are located in the main building, feature a sea view, and are positioned close to the sea (D2W).

Junior Suite Private Pool

The modern junior suites are slightly larger with the same facilities as the double rooms and feature a terrace with direct access to a private pool (ZJP).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We kindly ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.

Meals

Half Board

With half board, breakfast (7:30-10:30), late riser breakfast (10:30-11), and dinner (18:30-21:30) are offered as a buffet in the main restaurant. For dinner, Cretan products as well as traditional and international dishes are served.
For a fee, seafood lovers can try exceptional culinary creations based on the catch of the day. Available daily from 12 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 10 pm in the à-la-carte restaurant.
Elegant casual wear is requested for dinner in the main restaurant and the à-la-carte restaurant. Gentlemen are kindly asked to wear trousers and a shirt. Shorts, sleeveless shirts, sportswear, and flip-flops are not permitted.

Note on climate resilience fee

For stays starting from January 1, 2018, the Greek government imposes a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and, from January 1, 2025, is staggered from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room.
For stays in the high season (April 1–October 31):
Local category 1-2 stars: 2 euros
Local category 3 stars: 5 euros
Local category 4 stars: 10 euros
Local category 5 stars: 15 euros
For stays in the low season (November 1–March 31):
Local category 1-2 stars: 0.50 euros
