Location

The Pepper Sea Club hotel is a modern adults-only hotel (for guests aged 16 and over), located on the famous beach of Georgioupolis between the villages of Kournas and Episkopi in the northwest of the island of Crete. Lake Kournas, the only natural freshwater lake in Crete, is just 6 km away and offers a contrasting excursion destination with its diverse nature, swimming opportunities, and boat rentals. The harbor town of Rethymnon, 16 km away, with its Venetian old town and picturesque promenade, offers various entertainment and shopping options.
Chania airport is about 39 km away and Heraklion airport is approx. 95 km away.

The luxurious adults-only hotel, which can be booked for guests aged 16 and over, is situated in a quiet atmosphere and offers attentive service. The hotel is therefore a wonderful retreat for couples. It has a total of 95 modern, well-furnished double rooms and junior suites. Hotel facilities include a 24-hour reception with a lobby, an elevator in the main building, a main restaurant (partially with sea view), a spa area, and a mini-market. Wi-Fi is available throughout the complex. The well-maintained outdoor area with a large swimming pool, a sun terrace, and a pool bar (for a fee) invites you to relax. An à-la-carte restaurant located directly on the beach, serving Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with fresh Cretan produce and recipes, can be booked for a fee and by prior reservation.
Comfortable sun loungers, parasols, and towels are available to guests free of charge by the pool and at the beach. From 2027, sun loungers and parasols will be subject to a charge.

Accommodation

Cozy double room

The modern double rooms are located in the main building or the annex buildings and feature a king-size bed or twin beds, bathroom with walk-in shower and WC or semi-open bathroom with separate shower and separate WC, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, toiletries, scales, vanity mirror, and ironing facilities (on request). In addition, they are equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning, a safe, a minibar (1 small bottle of water per person/day is included, further refills for a fee), a telephone, a 42" LED satellite TV, a Nespresso machine (2 capsules included), as well as a balcony or terrace with garden view (D).
Optionally available for single use (DE).

With the same facilities as the double rooms, these rooms are located in the main building, feature a sea view, and are situated close to the sea (D2W).

Junior suite private pool

The modern junior suites are slightly larger than the double rooms with the same facilities and feature a terrace with direct access to the private pool (ZJP).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We request that you act with caution and pay special attention when using this area.

Meals

Half board

With half board, breakfast (7:30-10:30), late riser breakfast (10:30-11), and dinner (18:30-21:30) are offered as a buffet in the main restaurant. Dinner includes Cretan products as well as traditional and international dishes.
For a fee, seafood lovers can try extraordinary culinary creations based on the catch of the day. Daily from 12:00-16:00 and from 19:00-22:00 in the à-la-carte restaurant.
Smart casual dress is requested for dinner in the main restaurant and the à-la-carte restaurant. Gentlemen are requested to wear long trousers and a shirt. Shorts, sleeveless shirts, sportswear, and flip-flops are not permitted.

Note on climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is graduated from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room starting January 1, 2025.
