Location

The area around Hersonissos is one of the most developed tourist areas in Crete and offers everything needed for a wonderful holiday. Hersonisos is an area of significant natural and cultural richness: beautiful nature, remarkable monuments, museums, and picturesque villages - Hersonissos is definitely worth a visit. The accommodation is located directly on Glaros Beach, a sand/pebble beach. The town of Malia is about 10 km away, Heraklion can be reached after about 27 km. For hotel guests who like to explore the nearest towns and regions by bus, a bus stop is located about 100 m away. The nearest airport (HER) is about 27 km away.

Facilities

The beach hotel, completely renovated in 2022, has 6 floors and 164 rooms spread across a main building and an annex. The staff at the reception desk are happy to assist guests with any questions or requests. The hotel has a lobby with a bar, a minimarket, and free parking for hotel guests. For culinary delights, there are 3 restaurants, and the two bars in the hotel are always happy to welcome you. The hotel's Wi-Fi network can be used for a fee.

Double Room

These have a shower, TV, air conditioning, safety deposit box (rental), telephone, minibar, hairdryer, and balcony or terrace (D).
Also available for single use (DE), with garden view (2GD) or side sea view (DMS).

Super Saver Room

Unfortunately, no requests regarding equipment and location can be accommodated for these rooms. Allocation is exclusively at the discretion of the hotelier on site (SSZ).

Superior Side Sea View

The rooms are decorated in earthy tones and furnished with contemporary furniture. Amenities include a double bed and a comfortable sofa, a marble bathroom with a comfortable bathtub and hotel cosmetics (shower gel, shampoo). Further amenities include a plasma TV, a small refrigerator, and a hairdryer (D2S). Available from Summer 2026 also in the annex building (DSN).

Single Room

With otherwise similar amenities to double rooms, these are smaller (E).

Half board includes breakfast and dinner. Breakfast (7:30 AM - 10 AM) is served buffet style.

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from 01.01.2025.
