Location

The area around Hersonissos is one of the most developed tourist regions in Crete and offers everything necessary for a wonderful holiday. Hersonissos is an area of significant natural and cultural richness: beautiful nature, remarkable monuments, museums, and picturesque villages – Hersonissos is definitely worth a visit. The property is located directly on Glaros Beach, a sand/pebble beach. The town of Malia is approx. 10 km away, and Heraklion can be reached after approx. 27 km. For hotel guests who would like to explore the nearest towns and regions by bus, there is a bus stop approx. 100 m away. The nearest airport (HER) is approx. 27 km away.

Facilities

The 6-story beach hotel, which was last completely renovated in 2022, has 164 rooms spread across a main building and an annex. The staff at the hotel's reception are happy to assist guests with any questions or requests. The hotel features a lobby with a bar, a mini-market, and free parking for hotel guests. There are 3 restaurants for dining, and the two hotel bars are always happy to welcome guests. The hotel's Wi-Fi network can be used for a fee.

Double room

These include a shower, TV, air conditioning, rental safe, telephone, minibar, hairdryer, and balcony or terrace (D).
Also available for single use (DE), with garden view (2GD), or partial sea view (DMS).

Super saver room

Unfortunately, no requests regarding equipment and location can be accepted for these rooms. Allocation is at the sole discretion of the hotelier on site (SSZ).

Superior partial sea view

The rooms are decorated in earthy tones and furnished with contemporary furniture. Amenities include a double bed and a comfortable sofa, a bathroom with marble, a comfortable bathtub, and hotel toiletries (shower gel, shampoo). Further equipment includes a plasma TV, a small refrigerator, and a hairdryer (D2S). From summer 2026, also available in the annex (DSN).

Single room

With otherwise similar amenities to the double rooms, these are smaller (E).

Note on climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is graduated from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room starting January 1, 2025.
For stays during the high season from April 1 to October 31:
Land category 1-2 stars: 2 euros
Land category 3 stars: 5 euros
Land category 4 stars: 10 euros
Land category 5 stars: 15 euros
For stays during the low season from November 1 to March 31:
