Location

The area around Hersonissos is one of the most developed tourist regions of Crete, offering everything needed for a wonderful holiday. Hersonisos is an area of significant natural and cultural richness: beautiful nature, remarkable monuments, museums and picturesque villages - Hersonissos is definitely worth a visit. The accommodation is located directly on Glaros Beach, a sand/pebble beach. The town of Malia is approximately 10 km away, Heraklion can be reached after approximately 27 km. For hotel guests who like to explore the nearest towns and regions by bus, a bus stop is located about 100 m away. The nearest airport (HER) is approximately 27 km away.

Facilities

Completely renovated in 2022, the 6-storey beachfront hotel has 164 rooms spread across a main building and an annex. The reception staff are readily available to assist guests with any questions or requests. The hotel features a lobby with a bar, a mini-market, and free parking for hotel guests. For dining, there are 3 restaurants and two bars within the hotel that always welcome visitors. The hotel's Wi-Fi network can be used for a fee.

Double room

These rooms have a shower, TV, air conditioning, safe (rental), telephone, minibar, hairdryer, and a balcony or terrace (D).
Also available for single use (DE), with garden view (2GD) or side sea view (DMS).

Super Saver Room

Unfortunately, no requests regarding equipment and location can be accommodated for these rooms. The allocation is solely at the discretion of the hotelier on site (SSZ).

Superior side sea view

The rooms are decorated in earthy tones and furnished with contemporary furniture. Amenities include a double bed and a comfortable sofa, a bathroom with marble, a comfortable bathtub, and hotel cosmetics (shower gel, shampoo). Further amenities include a plasma TV, a small refrigerator, and a hairdryer (D2S). Available from Summer 2026 also in the annex building (DSN).

Single room

While otherwise having similar amenities to the double rooms, these are smaller (E).

Half board includes breakfast and dinner. Breakfast (from 7:30 AM - 10 AM) is served buffet-style.

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which is to be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and ranges from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room from 01.01.2025.
For stays during high season (1 April - 31 October):

Category 4 Stars: 10 Euros
