Location

Situated above the holiday resort of Hersonissos, the Village Heights Resort hotel is surrounded by olive and carob trees and is approximately 6 km from the sandy beach.
The distance to Heraklion airport is approx. 27 km. A complimentary shuttle bus runs regularly to the beach of Hersonissos, which is approx. 6 km away.

Built in the style of a Cretan village, the complex has a total of 200 accommodations spread across several annex buildings. The main building features a lobby with 24-hour reception, a small library, internet corner, a main restaurant (à la carte at lunch), the "Elia" à la carte restaurant with terrace, mini-market, and the lobby bar. In the basement, there is a spa area with sauna, hammam, and indoor pool, as well as a fitness room with yoga deck, a pool bar, a kafeneio, and the Cretan à la carte restaurant "Rodies". The well-maintained outdoor area with garden includes two unheated freshwater swimming pools with integrated children's pools and a pool/snack bar. Bath towels, sun umbrellas, and sunbeds are available free of charge at the pool. Sun umbrellas and sunbeds are available for a fee at the sandy beach in Hersonissos. Guests of the hotel have free access to the "Beachcomber" beach club. Sunbeds and sun umbrellas are also included at the beach club. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel complex.

Junior Suite Kitchenette

The accommodations feature a combined living/sleeping area with a king-size bed, bath/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning/heating (included), telephone, flat-screen Smart TV, safe, fully equipped kitchenette with mini-fridge, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher, dining area, and a furnished balcony or terrace (JS2). Also bookable for single occupancy (JS1).

Suite

Featuring the same amenities as the Junior Suites, they have a separate bedroom with a king-size bed and a comfortable sitting area with a sofa bed in the living room (S2).

Premium Suite

Featuring the same amenities as the Suites, they have a spacious terrace with two comfortable sunbeds and a seating area, and are located on the upper floors. In addition, guests of this category receive a bottle of water, wine, and a selection of seasonal fruits (SA).

Villa 3 Bedrooms Private Pool

The very spacious villas feature the same amenities as the Family Suite 2 Bedrooms plus an additional bedroom, a total of 3 bathrooms equipped with a bathtub, a separate shower, and a private pool (V38, on request).
The private pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.

Meals

Accommodation/Breakfast/ Half-board

The main restaurant, with its fresh, modern ambiance, offers a cozy indoor area and a terrace directly by the pool.
Breakfast is served here from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the form of a varied buffet with a Cretan corner.
If half-board is booked, dinner in buffet form is also included from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Proper attire is requested for dinner. Drinks are available at an extra charge.

All Inclusive

Premium All Inclusive

Breakfast (7:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.) and dinner in buffet form (7:00 p.m.-9:30 p.m.) in the main restaurant.
Lunch à la carte (12:30 p.m.-4:00 p.m., some dishes for an extra charge) or in buffet form, also in the main restaurant. Drinks at lunch and dinner from the All Inclusive menu, including local draft beer, local wine, water, and soft drinks.
Dinner is available optionally in the "Elia" à la carte restaurant or at "Rodies" (some dishes/drinks are included, others available for an extra charge) with reservation.
At the Citrus Pool Bar, water, soft drinks, fruit juices, local beer, and local wine are included from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Additionally, various dishes are offered a la carte from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (per All Inclusive menu).
The lobby bar offers local and international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m., as well as small dishes from the All Inclusive menu from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
At the Kafenion, various drinks including water, soft drinks, juices, draft beer, and local wine are part of the All-Inclusive program from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (some premium brands and an extensive wine list are available for an extra charge).
Guests also receive 1x free admission to the Labyrinth Theme Park per stay or can enjoy an à la carte dinner in a local tavern (minimum stay 7 nights).

Not included in All Inclusive

Selected branded drinks, room service, selected dishes and drinks at the "Elia" and "Rodies" à la carte restaurants.

Destination information Climate Resilience Tax

For stays from 1.1.2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience tax, which is to be paid by the guest locally, comparable to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 euro to 15 € per day and room as of 1.1.2025.
