The Creta Maris Resort is located near Hersonissos, directly on a beautiful, approximately 250-meter-long bay with a sandy/pebbly beach that has been awarded the "Blue Flag". The small harbor, shopping streets, bars, and tavernas are just a few minutes' walk away. Heraklion Airport is approx. 24 km away.

The high-quality and expansive hotel complex consists of two main buildings and a village-style bungalow area. A section of the main building has been exclusively reserved for adults (aged 16 and over) since summer 2025. The hotel features 675 rooms and a Pool Villa, and offers a spacious lobby with a 24-hour reception, several elevators, lounges with TV, internet corners (included), two main restaurants, five à-la-carte restaurants (one of which is the seafood restaurant "Alatsi", which is reserved exclusively for guests aged 16+ on certain days), six snack points, and nine bars. Further facilities include a mini-market, a boutique, a jeweler, a hairdresser, and the open-air cinema "Cine Creta Maris" (one free ticket per person per stay, June to September, cinema bar for a fee). The hotel also features the "Nami" wine cellar, which opened in 2025 (for a fee, ages 16+, reservation required). The beautifully landscaped grounds include a total of 17 swimming pools (including 5 children's pools) and a whirlpool.
A water park spanning approx. 4,000 m² is available to guests, featuring five slides (age and height restrictions apply), a swimming pool with numerous water features, a multi-level play area with waterfalls, jets, slides, and a water volcano for children, as well as a relaxation area with seating and a bar serving drinks and snacks.
Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach; beach towels are also included.
The resort also offers an "Exclusive Adult" room area. This is located in the eastern part of the hotel and may only be used by guests staying in these rooms (minimum age 16). This area provides exclusive access to the "Spira" pool as well as three small heated pools. Furthermore, the local beach section with gazebos, sun loungers, and a spa pavilion, as well as the "Sima" bar, are for the exclusive use of guests in these rooms. A separate section in the main restaurant is also reserved for these guests.
High-speed Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and in most communal areas and is included.

Double Room

The double rooms are comfortably furnished with bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, and bathrobe. They are also equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning, Smart TV (with Netflix access), safe, minibar (filled upon arrival, free refill 1x per week), coffee/tea station, and Nespresso machine. The rooms feature a furnished balcony or terrace, are located in the main buildings or in the bungalows, and have mountain views (DD2, also available as D2I under HER732).
Alternatively, also bookable for single use (1OA) from 2027.

Bungalow

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms are located in the bungalows with garden views and also feature a balcony or terrace (2BD/BI2/B2A, bookable under HER732).
Optionally bookable under the code HER232 as pool-front (2UQ), pool-front for single use (1UQ), as well as with sea view (B2M/BAM) from summer 2027, or under the code HER732 also with sea view (B2I), for single use (1BD), or for single use with sea view (B1M).

Double Room Exclusive Adult Only

These feature the same amenities as the double rooms, but were renovated for summer 2026, are located in the "Exclusive Adult" area, and are bookable for guests aged 16 and over. As a result, these rooms offer access to specific facilities (2OA, also as DDA under HER732).
Optionally, the rooms are also bookable with sea view (AOM/DDD, also as DDB under HER732), under the code HER732 for single use with mountain/garden view (DEA), or likewise under the code HER732 for single use with sea view (DEB; from summer 2027 also under the code 232 EOM).
Guests in the Exclusive Adult room categories have exclusive access to the following facilities:
- Spira pool and three heated pools
- Adults-only area in the "Enomy" restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Access to the "Sima Beach Bar"
- Adults-only beach area with gazebos

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the family rooms consist of one large room and feature a bathroom with a bathtub. They are located in the Terra building or the bungalow area (DF2).

These feature the same amenities as the family rooms, consist of one bedroom and one living room/bedroom (partly with one or two bathrooms), and are bookable in the Maris building, Terra building, or bungalow area (X1R).

The spacious bungalow suites are being newly built for summer 2027, are located in the bungalow area, consist of a combined living/sleeping room and a separate bedroom equipped with a king-size or twin beds, and feature a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, high-quality toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, 50" Smart TV, minibar, coffee/tea station, Nespresso machine, as well as a furnished balcony or terrace (NO2).

Breakfast in two main buffet restaurants from 7:30-10:30 a.m. or in the "Arasmari" restaurant from 8-11 a.m. Early-bird breakfast from 6-7:30 a.m. on request in the buffet restaurant. Lunch from 12:30-2:30 p.m. buffet-style in three different restaurants. Dinner in two main buffet restaurants (6:30-9:30 p.m., reservation required in one of the two) or in the 5 à-la-carte restaurants (6:30-10 p.m., reservation required).
During meals (lunch and dinner), guests can enjoy unlimited Cretan wine, beer, soft drinks, and water. Furthermore, snacks are available throughout the day at the snack points, such as fresh, seasonal salads, freshly prepared fruits, smoothies, ice cream, waffles, crêpes, burgers, and much more.
From 9 a.m. to 12 a.m., local and international non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks such as cocktails, spirits, beer, soft drinks, water, coffee, and tea are included at the respective open bar. Special varieties of spirits are available for an extra charge.
Guests may dine once a week in one of the six different themed restaurants (with reservation).
All services are valid until 12 a.m.
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner (no flip-flops, no swimwear, no sportswear).
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free dishes are available. Ingredients and allergens are also noted for dishes in all restaurants.

Asterias Children's Club (4-12 years, Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) with activities specially tailored to the children's age, such as various team activities, projects inspired by Greek culture, "Live like a local" experiences, or various art projects. Destination information: Climate Resilience Fee

For stays starting from Jan 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
