Location

Enagron is an estate of approx. 60 hectares on which several buildings with 36 residential units for 2 to a maximum of 6 people are spread out. It is located in a quiet area outside the mountain village of Axos. A mini-market and various cafes are located in the village. The nearest beach is 26 km away.
Heraklion Airport is about 44 km away, Chania Airport (CHQ) approx. 106 km. Tip: Enagron is the ideal place for long walks, and numerous churches are located in the immediate vicinity. There are caves to explore a few kilometers away, and Crete's highest mountain (Psiloritis) is about 19 km away.

Inside, there is the reception area, a large lounge with a fireplace and satellite TV and a terrace, a kafenion/bar, and the restaurant. In the extensive outdoor area, there is the 90 m² freshwater pool (open from 9 am to 7 pm) with a sun terrace, loungers, seating, and umbrellas. Pool towels are available free of charge. Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all public areas and in the rooms.
The estate also has a spa, a vineyard, gardens, a stable, and a small cheese dairy.

Accommodation

Studio

Tradition is reflected in each residential unit, all with the same amenities. Living/sleeping area with 2-3 traditional sofa beds or sofa beds in the apartments, kitchenette (pots, hot plates, coffee machine, kettle), fireplace, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, safe (rental), shower/WC, and a balcony with a wonderful view of the surroundings. The studios have a double bed (S12) in the living/sleeping area.
Also available as a split-level studio type A with an open sleeping area on the upper floor (AST).

Apartment

The apartments have a separate bedroom with a double bed and, depending on occupancy, an additional bed. They are equipped with a kitchenette (pots, hot plates, coffee machine, kettle), fireplace, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, safe (rental), shower/WC, and a balcony with a wonderful view of the surroundings (A12).
Also available as an option with additional sleeping facilities and in a split-level style with an open sleeping area on the upper floor (A15).

2 Bedroom Apartment

The 2 bedroom apartments are also designed in a split-level style. A living/sleeping area with two single beds, a separate bedroom, a bathroom with shower/WC, and a kitchenette are located on the lower floor, while on the upper floor there is an additional sleeping area with two single beds and a second bathroom. The rooms also have a fireplace, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, safe (rental), and a balcony (A22).

Meals

Bed & Breakfast / Half Board

Room only or with breakfast. Breakfast is served buffet-style with traditional products from 8 am to 10:30 am. Half board also includes dinner (from 7 pm to 10 pm). Many products used to prepare the predominantly seasonal meals come from our own cultivation and production.
Vegetarian dishes and special diets are available; please register at the reception upon arrival.

Wellness

From April to the end of October, a comprehensive offer is available at the Ataraxia Eco-Spa. Natural and local care products are used. A sauna, a whirlpool, and new outdoor hydromassage bathtubs are also available (for a fee).

Entertainment

To get to know the life of the Cretans more closely, Enagron offers various activities on-site: participation in agricultural work, participation in or observation of cultural, social, or religious events (e.g., Easter celebrations), bread/cheese making, grape harvesting (in September), and raki production.

Hotel Service

Room cleaning 6 times a week, towel and bed linen change 3 times a week.
A cot and high chair are available upon request.

Information regarding Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience contribution, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room starting from 01.01.2025.
