Location

The OYA Beach Resort hotel is located in Anissaras, directly on the sand/pebble beach. The center of Chersonissos with its shopping and entertainment facilities is approximately 3 km away. The town of Agios Nikolaos is approximately 45 km away. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approximately 22 km.

Facilities

This All-Inclusive resort will be completely renovated for Summer 2026 and offers 276 modern double and family rooms located in the main building or bungalow area. The hotel features a buffet restaurant, two themed à la carte restaurants, three bars, a water slide, and two swimming pools.
The main building houses a 24-hour reception, luggage storage, lobby, TV lounge, and an elevator. There is also a mini-market, a souvenir shop, and a jewelry store. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach. Beach towels can be rented for a deposit. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

Double Room

The rooms, renovated for Summer 2026, are located in the main building and feature a bathroom/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobes and slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning (included), coffee/tea maker, telephone, satellite TV, mini-fridge (non-alcoholic drinks included on arrival), Wi-Fi (included), safe, and a balcony or terrace (D/DI).
Double room for single use (DE) is also available.

Double Room Sea View

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but with a sea view (DM/DMI).

Superior Double Room Sea View

With all other amenities being the same as the double rooms, the Superior Double Rooms are located on the top floor of the main building (DMU).

Family Room

Family rooms are located in the main building or bungalows and have the same amenities as double rooms, but with a combined living/sleeping area with 2 sofa beds and a separate bedroom (some with connecting door; DF2)

Bungalow

The bungalows, with all other amenities being the same as the double rooms, are located in the bungalow buildings and have a balcony or terrace (BU).

Bungalow Seafront

With all other amenities being the same as the bungalows, the Bungalow Seafront are located in the first row to the sea (WF2).

Bungalow private pool Seafront

With all other amenities being the same as the bungalows, these are located in the first row to the sea and have a private pool (2QM).

Breakfast, lunch and dinner served as a buffet with an extended show cooking area (Greek and international cuisine). Once per stay, one meal at the Mediterranean à la carte restaurant and at the Italian à la carte restaurant is included (reservation required).

Breakfast (7:15 AM - 10:30 AM), lunch (12:30 PM - 2:30 PM), and dinner (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM) with regular themed evenings served as a buffet in the main restaurant.
Breakfast is served as an American buffet with show cooking in the main restaurant.
Fresh homemade crepes (sweet or savory), desserts, and ice cream are offered at the pool bar creperie (10 AM - 11:45 PM). Snacks are also available at the pool bar from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Lunch and dinner are served as a buffet with show cooking in the main restaurant.
One complimentary à la carte dinner at the Mediterranean restaurant (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM, reservation required 2 days in advance), as well as one complimentary à la carte lunch or dinner at the Italian restaurant (12:30 PM - 2:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM, reservation required 2 days in advance) are included per stay.
The main restaurant features a healthy corner and a children's buffet.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included from 10 AM to 11:45 PM at the respective open bar: juices, coffee, tea, draft beer, house wine, local spirits (brandy, ouzo), and international alcoholic beverages.

Note on climate resilience contribution

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government has introduced a climate resilience contribution, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, as of 01.01.2025, ranges from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
For stays during the high season from April 1st to October 31st:
National category 1-2 stars: 2 Euros
National category 3 stars: 5 Euros
National category 4 stars: 10 Euros
National category 5 stars: 15 Euros
For stays during the low season from November 1st to March 31st:
National category 1-2 stars: 0.50 Euros
