Location

The popular Paralos Kosta Alímia holiday hotel, newly redesigned for summer 2024, welcomes guests aged 13 and over as a 5-star resort (Adults friendly; from 2027 it will be an adults-only hotel for guests 16 and older). It is located in the Anissaras holiday area, directly on a 150m long beach covering approximately 5000m², which is separated from the hotel only by a rarely-used, kilometer-long promenade (swimming shoes recommended).
There are a few mini-markets, bars, and tavernas near the hotel. The lively tourist center of Hersonissos with its numerous shops, bars, and restaurants is just 4 km to the east. The smaller and quieter village of Analipsi can be easily reached in a 15-minute walk to the west. The capital, Heraklion, is approx. 22 km away and can be reached by public bus.
Various attractions such as the Palace of Knossos, the Palace of Malia, the Lasithi Plateau, or the beautiful Gulf of Mirabello with the famous Spinalonga Island can also be explored.

The well-known property (formerly Paralos Kosta Mare) opened its doors in 1988 and has developed into one of the most famous and popular hotels on Crete over the last 30+ years. Since summer 2024, the property has been part of the PURE LUXE category of Paralos Hospitality Hotels. Following extensive renovations that began in recent years and were completed by summer 2024, the Paralos Kosta Alímia shines with a new design.
The hotel features 152 rooms, a reception hall with a 24-hour front desk and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, a lounge with a terrace and elevator, a lobby bar with a terrace, and five à la carte restaurants. In the beautifully landscaped grounds, in addition to a sunbathing area with high-quality loungers with comfortable pads and parasols, there are a total of 12 pools (including sharing pools and private pools). A heated indoor pool in the spa area and two main pools each offer an integrated whirlpool. The impressive infinity pool is equipped with water loungers and a state-of-the-art underwater music system, providing a unique swimming experience. In addition, there are two new sharing pools and seven private pools. The pool bars impress with a new design and modern, luxurious furniture.
On the beach, high-quality loungers with comfortable pads and umbrellas are provided, along with elevated seat cushions and gazebos (Bali beds). Additionally, there is a beach and pool service that serves drinks directly to your lounger. For the health-conscious and sports enthusiasts, a wellness & spa center and fitness areas (open-air and indoor) are available.

Double Room Retreat Sea View Hydromassage Tub

Features otherwise identical equipment to the Deluxe Double Rooms, but with a large terrace with a landscaped rock garden, equipped with a private wooden pavilion, small fire pit, and a hydromassage bathtub, as well as a magnificent view of the Cretan Sea.
Daily minibar refill with non-alcoholic beverages is included. The sound and light ambiance of the room can be adjusted at any time and thus personalized. Soft equipment for yoga and Pilates is also provided (22Z; additional quotas bookable under hotel code HER201: DMA).

The restaurant offers two areas. The "Greek Grill" area treats you from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. to delicious gyros and souvlaki wraps. From 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., there is authentic and delicious food from Greek cuisine, such as the "Souvla" rotisserie and other skewered roasted meat specialties.
The Greek taverna "Kalesma" serves traditional, hearty home-style cooking with high-quality local products from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
"Seafood Okeanós": Daily à la carte from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
The best the Greek seafood world has to offer. Enjoy fresh and delicious flavors, either grilled or via the chef's magical touch in the pan.
"Steakhouse Flóga": Daily à la carte from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Enjoy your meat perfectly seasoned from the grill or the oven.
For All Inclusive guests, mineral water, selected Greek wines, Greek beer, soft drinks, and juices are included with meals. In the evening, a selection of aperitifs and digestifs is also available.
The Thalassa Pool Bar (10:15 a.m. – 1:00 a.m.), the Theatro Pool Bar (10:15 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.), and the Lobby Bar (10:15 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.) provide refreshments with coffee and tea varieties, juices, low-carb drinks, smoothies, milkshakes, as well as soft drinks, beer, wine, international spirits, and a selection of cocktails.
The All Inclusive program is valid until the bars close at 1:00 a.m. The last order is taken at 12:30 a.m.
When booking All Inclusive, the minibar is refilled daily with non-alcoholic beverages. A service fee applies for room service.

Information regarding Climate Resilience Fee

For stays starting from Jan 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.

Pass straight through the intersection, drive left directly behind the bus stop, and follow the small parallel road towards Anissaras. The first street on the right leads directly to the Paralos Kosta Alimia.
