The Hotel Atlantica Akti Zeus is located directly on the long sand/pebble beach of Amoudara. There are numerous shopping and entertainment options in the immediate vicinity, and a bus stop is only about 120 m away. The center of Heraklion can be reached in approx. 12 km. Heraklion airport is also easily accessible and is located approx. 15 km from the hotel.

The family-friendly complex has 368 rooms spread across 3 buildings and offers a lobby with a 24-hour reception, elevator, 1 buffet restaurant, 2 à-la-carte restaurants (Italian and Greek; each for a fee, reservation required), several bars, a wine cellar, souvenir shop, jeweler, and a mini-market. Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex. In the well-maintained garden area, there is an on-site water park with several slides (admission included, bar in the water park for a fee) as well as 2 swimming pools with a sun terrace and pool/snack bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool and on the beach. Pool towels can be borrowed for a deposit. Parking spaces at the hotel are included, subject to availability.

The modern furnished rooms feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, double bed or 2 single beds, telephone, LCD TV, individually adjustable air conditioning, mini-fridge, rental safe, coffee/tea maker, and a balcony or terrace (D). Additional beds are available for a 3rd or 4th person (DA/DB).

The Superior Family rooms offer, with otherwise identical amenities as the double rooms, an additional separable bedroom (F2U).

All Inclusive

Breakfast (7:30-10:30 a.m.), lunch (12:30-2:30 p.m.), and dinner (6:30-9:30 p.m.) are served in buffet form. Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are also offered. There are occasional various themed evenings.
1x per stay, dinner can be taken in the Greek à-la-carte restaurant (reservation required).
During the day from 10:30 a.m.-6 p.m., various snacks are offered, and in the afternoon from 4-5 p.m. coffee, tea, and pastries. Snacks at the lobby bar after 11 p.m.

Information on climate resilience levy

For stays starting from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
