The Apollonia Beach Resort & Spa is located directly on the long beach of Ammoudara. Heraklion is approximately 9 km away. The distance to Heraklion Airport is about 15 kilometers.

The complex, consisting of a main building and 2-story terraced bungalows with a total of 336 rooms, is surrounded by a beautiful park-like garden and features a lobby with reception, 4 bars with large terraces, a main restaurant, 3 à la carte restaurants (Greek, vegan, and Italian cuisine, reservation required), mini-market, hairdresser, Wi-Fi (included throughout the hotel), and an indoor and an open-air disco. The outdoor area includes 3 freshwater swimming pools with 2 separate children's/baby pools, a sun terrace and lawn with loungers and umbrellas, a pool/snackbar, a beach café, a taverna, and an amphitheater. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included on the beach.

Bungalow

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious, located in the bungalow buildings and featuring a mobile extra bed (B2A).
Also available for an extra charge with a side sea view and a fixed bed (2BS).

Family Room

Similar to the double rooms, but more spacious and located either in the bungalow area or the main building (1 room, DF2).
Also available for an extra charge as a family room with a second bedroom, connected by a sliding door (2FB).

Superior Bungalow Renovated

These accommodations, which will be freshly renovated for Summer 2026, are comfortably and modernly furnished and feature a bathroom/WC with a walk-in shower, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, rental safe, telephone, free Wi-Fi, LED Smart TV, music system, refrigerator, kettle, and coffee/tea station. A balcony or terrace invites you to relax (2BU/BI).
Bungalows are also available with a side sea view upon request (BSX/BIS). Additionally, the Superior Bungalows are available for single occupancy (1BU) or single occupancy with a side sea view (BS1).

American breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (12:30-2:30 PM), and dinner (6:45-9:30 PM) served buffet-style. Early breakfast upon request and late breakfast from 10-10:30 AM.
Coffee/tea and cake from 4-5 PM, snack bar (fries, fruit, and ice cream) from 10 AM-6 PM, and pizza from 1-3 PM.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included from 10 AM to midnight.
Optional dinner once per stay at one of the 3 à la carte themed restaurants (Greek, vegan, and Italian, with advance reservation) is possible. Gluten-free dishes are available upon request.
A bracelet is required to utilize the All-Inclusive services.

Sports included

Darts, bicycles (1 hour per day, subject to availability), table tennis, mini golf, 2 hard tennis courts (floodlights at a fee), mini soccer, and beach volleyball.

Information on climate resilience levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, which is to be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room starting January 1, 2025.
For stays during high season April 1st - October 31st:
National category 1-2 stars: 2 Euros
National category 3 stars: 5 Euros
National category 4 stars: 10 Euros
National category 5 stars: 15 Euros
For stays during low season November 1st - March 31st:
National category 1-2 stars: 0.50 Euros
National category 3 stars: 1.50 Euros
