The Apollonia Beach Resort & Spa is located directly on the long beach of Ammoudara. Shopping facilities, bars, and restaurants are in the vicinity. The center of Heraklion is approx. 9 km away. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approx. 15 kilometers. A bus stop can be reached on foot after approx. 200 m.

The complex, consisting of a main building and 2-story bungalow rows with a total of 336 rooms, is surrounded by a beautiful park-like garden and features a lobby with reception, 4 bars with large terraces, a main restaurant, 3 à la carte restaurants (Greek and Italian cuisine, reservation required), a mini-market, a hairdresser, as well as an indoor and an open-air disco. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the entire hotel complex. The outdoor area features three freshwater swimming pools with two separate children's/baby pools, a sun terrace and lawn with sunbeds and umbrellas, a pool/snack bar, a beach kafenion, a tavern, and an amphitheater. Sunbeds, umbrellas, and beach towels are included at the beach.

Also available for single occupancy (DE).

Executive Double Room partial sea view

The double rooms can alternatively be booked for an extra charge as slightly more spacious Executive Double Rooms with partial sea view (DMS/DIS).

Bungalow

The comfortable and large bungalows are equipped with bath/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, rental safe, music system, LED Smart TV, mobile extra bed, hairdryer, refrigerator, kettle, balcony or terrace. These are located in the bungalow buildings (B2A).
Optionally available for an extra charge with partial sea view and fixed bed (2BS).

Bungalow Superior renovated

The accommodations, which will be freshly renovated for summer 2026, are comfortably and modernly furnished and feature a bath/WC with walk-in shower, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, rental safe, telephone, LED Smart TV, music system, refrigerator, kettle, and coffee/tea station. A balcony or terrace invites you to relax (2BU/BI/BI2).
On request, the bungalows can also be booked with partial sea view (BSX/BIS). In addition, the Bungalow Superior are available for single occupancy (1BU) or single occupancy with partial sea view (BS1).

The spacious family rooms are located either in the bungalow area or in the main building. These are equipped with bath/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, rental safe, music system, LED Smart TV, hairdryer, refrigerator, kettle, balcony or terrace (1 room, DF2).

Sports included

Free sports and leisure activities include darts, table tennis, mini-golf, mini-soccer, beach volleyball, and the use of bicycles for up to one hour daily (subject to availability). In addition, two hard-court tennis courts are available; use of the floodlights is possible for a fee.

Sports for a fee

Leisure activities for a fee include billiards as well as various water sports options, which are available seasonally from April 15th to October 15th.

Children's program

The Mini Club (4-12 years) is open several times a week. Children's animation is provided. There are 2 water slides at one of the pools.

Information regarding Climate Resilience Fee

For stays starting from January 1st, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, to be paid by the guest locally, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from January 1st, 2025, between 0.50 Euro and 15 Euro per day and room.
For stays in the high season April 1st - October 31st:
