This family-run mid-range hotel is situated directly on a mountainside, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the bay and the picturesque fishing village of Agia Pelagia. It is approx. 600 m to the beach and approx. 2 km to the village of Pelagia. A shuttle service to the beach is provided for our guests 4 times a day.
Heraklion Airport is approximately 23 km away.

The hotel complex consists of a main building with a total of 250 rooms. This popular holiday resort features a 24-hour reception, a lounge with TV, Wi-Fi (included), a mini-market, a restaurant, and a bar with an outdoor terrace offering a magnificent view of the bay. There are 3 freshwater swimming pools, a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols (included), as well as two pool bars. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the beach for a fee. Bath towels are available for a deposit.

These renovated rooms feature a modern, high-quality design with bath/WC, telephone, minibar, mini-fridge, and air conditioning (included), flat-screen TV, coffee/tea maker, safe (included), and a balcony or terrace (DSU). Optionally available for single use (DE) or with a sea view (DMU/DIM) for an extra charge.

Superior Elegant Double Room

The freshly renovated rooms feature a more modern, high-quality design with bath/WC, telephone, minibar, air conditioning, fridge (included), flat-screen TV, coffee/tea maker, espresso machine (4 capsules included upon arrival), safe (included), and a balcony (DAS). Optionally available with a sea view (MSA) for an extra charge.
Guests in this room category can enjoy one free dinner in the à-la-carte restaurant for stays of 7 days or more (reservation required at least 2 days in advance).

Family Room

Equipped the same as the Superior Double Rooms, these also feature a bunk bed and are more spacious (DF2).

Also available on the ground floor with direct access to the sharing pool (F2H).
The sharing pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children.
For this reason, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types for safety reasons.

Maisonette

Equipped the same as the Double Rooms, these feature a living/sleeping area on the lower level and a sleeping area on the upper level (M2).
