The Atlantica Amalthia Beach Hotel, bookable for ages 16 and up, is located directly on the Blue Flag awarded sandy beach of Agia Marina. Shops and entertainment facilities are in the immediate vicinity. Chania Airport can be reached in approx. 24 km, while Heraklion Airport is approx. 148 km away.

The modern, partially renovated adults-only complex, bookable for ages 16 and up, features 129 rooms and offers a 24-hour reception, lobby with satellite TV area, luggage room, breakfast room, and an à la carte restaurant on the beach (Greek and international cuisine). The well-maintained outdoor area includes 3 swimming pools with sun terrace, 2 whirlpools, and a pool/snackbar. Beach towels are available for a fee. Sunbeds and umbrellas are included by the pool, and available for a fee on the beach. Parking is included at the hotel, subject to availability. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

Double Room

The friendly and brightly furnished rooms offer a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, telephone, safe, individually controlled air conditioning, satellite TV, mini-fridge, and a balcony or terrace with garden view (2GD, located in the main building). Double room for single use (1GD), economy double room (SSZ), or with sea view (DM) are also available.

Superior Double Room

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the superior rooms also include bathrobes, slippers, and a coffee/tea maker (DSU).

Deluxe Double Room

With the same amenities as the superior double rooms, these rooms are slightly larger, located in the annex building (accessible via road or bridge), and offer garden or pool views (DD2). Sea view is also available (DDM).

Junior Suite

With the same amenities as the superior double rooms, these suites are more spacious and additionally feature a separate bedroom with a second TV, a dining area with a kitchen sink, and a shower and bathtub (JS2). Sea view is also available (J2M).

Breakfast/Half Board

Breakfast (7:30 AM - 10 AM) served buffet style.
With Half Board booked, dinner (7 PM - 9 PM) is a set menu served at the à la carte restaurant.
Vegetarian dishes are available upon request. Please contact the local reception.
Drinks are not included with dinner.

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018, the Greek government is levying a climate resilience fee, payable by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from 1.1.2025.
