The Atlantica Amalthia Beach Hotel, bookable for ages 16 and up, is located directly on the Blue Flag awarded sandy beach of Agia Marina. Shops and entertainment options are in the vicinity. Chania Airport can be reached in approx. 24 km, while Heraklion Airport is approx. 148 km away.

The modern, adults-only complex, bookable for ages 16 and up, was partially renovated in 2025 and features 129 rooms. It offers a 24-hour reception, a lobby with a satellite TV area, luggage room, breakfast room, and an à la carte restaurant on the beach (Greek and international cuisine). The well-maintained outdoor area includes 3 swimming pools with sun terraces, 2 whirlpools, and a pool bar/snack bar. Beach towels are available for a fee. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool, and available for a fee on the beach. Parking is available at the hotel free of charge, subject to availability. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.

Double Room

The bright and cheerfully furnished rooms offer a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, bathroom amenities, telephone, safe, individually adjustable air conditioning, satellite TV, mini-fridge, and a balcony or terrace with garden view (2GD, located in the main building). Also available as economy room (SSZ), with sea view (DM), or for single occupancy (1GD).

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the superior rooms additionally include bathrobes, slippers, and a coffee/tea maker (DSU).

Double Room Deluxe

With the same amenities as the superior double rooms, these rooms are slightly larger, located in the annex building (accessible via street or bridge), and feature garden or pool views (DD2). Also available with sea view (DDM).

Junior Suite

With the same amenities as the superior double rooms, these are more spacious and additionally feature a separate bedroom with a second TV, a dining area with a sink, and a shower and bathtub (JS2). Also available with sea view (J2M).

Breakfast/Half Board

Breakfast (7:30 AM - 10 AM) buffet style.
With booked half board, dinner (7 PM - 9 PM) is served as a set menu in the à la carte restaurant.
Vegetarian dishes are available upon request. Please contact the reception on-site.

Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, payable by guests on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from €0.50 to €15 per day per room from January 1, 2025.
For stays during high season (April 1 - October 31):
Category 1-2 Stars: 2 Euros
Category 3 Stars: 5 Euros
Category 4 Stars: 10 Euros
Category 5 Stars: 15 Euros
For stays during low season (November 1 - March 31):
Category 1-2 Stars: 0.50 Euros
