The adults-only Giannoulis Santa Marina Plaza hotel, which can be booked for guests aged 16 and over, is located directly on the sandy beach and is only approx. 8 km from Chania town. The town center of Agia Marina with its many shops and tavernas is within walking distance.

The adults-only holiday hotel features 51 luxurious rooms, a lobby, a 24-hour reception, a main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and a bar. In the beautifully landscaped outdoor area, there is a freshwater swimming pool with a sun terrace and a pool/snack bar (open 10:00 AM – midnight). Pool towels, sun loungers, and umbrellas are included at the pool and on the beach. Wi-Fi is included throughout the hotel.

The rooms are spacious and feature a bath or shower/WC, slippers, bathrobes, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV with music channels, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, radio, telephone, rental safe, and a balcony or terrace with pool view (PD/PID). Also available with sea view (DM/DMI), located directly by the sea (D2W), or as a super saver room (SSZ).

The slightly more spacious junior suites feature the same amenities as the double rooms and include a large terrace with a sea view (J2M).

Greek breakfast (7:45 AM – 10:30 AM) and dinner (7:00 PM – 9:30 PM) in buffet style in the main restaurant with show cooking; once per week Greek and Italian evening.
An early-bird breakfast (5:30 AM – 7:45 AM) can be requested the previous day.
Optionally, dinner à la carte (7:00 PM – 10:00 PM) is possible and included (with reservation required the previous day and a minimum beverage spend of €18 per person).

Destination information: Climate resilience fee

For stays from 1.1.2018 onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and, as of 1.1.2025, is staggered from €0.50 to €15 per day and room.
