The Theo Hotel is situated in a quiet location in the west of the island of Crete, at the top of a hill overlooking the town of Agia Marina. The sandy beach is approximately 150 m away. Shopping and entertainment options are in the immediate vicinity. Chania Airport is about 30 km away, and Heraklion Airport is approximately 148 km away. A bus stop is located about 650 m away.

The family-friendly complex has a total of 136 rooms. Facilities include a 24-hour reception, luggage storage, a lobby, complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the complex, a main restaurant, the à-la-carte restaurant "Isola" right by the sea, and a mini-market. The well-maintained grounds feature a swimming pool with a children's section, a sun terrace, and a pool bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool, and available for a fee at the beach. Parking is available at the hotel free of charge, subject to availability.

Double room

The double rooms feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, safe (for a fee), telephone, flat-screen satellite TV, Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, kettle, and a balcony or terrace (D).
Optionally bookable with sea view (DM/DMI) or for single use (DE/DEM) for an extra charge.

Studio sea view

With the same facilities as the double rooms, the studios additionally feature a kitchenette with a mini-fridge, hot plates, coffee/tea maker, kettle, toaster, dishes, and a sea view (SM2). Optionally bookable for single use (SM1).

Apartment

With the same facilities as the studios, these additionally have a separate bedroom (A12).
Optionally bookable with sea view (2AM).

Suite 2 bedrooms private pool

The spacious suites, with the same facilities as the studios, offer space for up to 6 people in 2 separate bedrooms and a living/sleeping area. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub or shower. Outside, there is a furnished terrace with a small, private pool (SP2).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk potential for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Meals

Breakfast/Half board

Breakfast in buffet form (7:30 am–10:30 am) in the main restaurant.
If half board is booked, dinner (7:00 pm–9:00 pm) is also in buffet form in the main restaurant.
Vegetarian food and special diet menus are available on request. Please contact the front desk on site for this.

Ultra All Inclusive

Breakfast (7:30 am–10:30 am) and dinner (7:00 pm–9:00 pm) in buffet form, lunch à la carte (12:00 pm–2:30 pm), each in the main restaurant.
Dinner at the à-la-carte restaurant "Isola" is included once per stay for stays of at least 7 nights (reservation required).
À-la-carte snacks such as salad, pizza, hamburgers, or hot dogs are offered from 11:00 am–3:30 pm at the pool bar. Ice cream is also available from 10:00 am–11:00 pm at the pool bar.
Coffee/tea time with cake and pastries from 4:00 pm–5:00 pm, also at the pool bar.
Local and selected international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included from 10:00 am–11:00 pm at the pool bar.
Daily replenishment of the minibar with water, juices, soft drinks, beer, red and white wine, as well as daily replenishment of the coffee/tea station with coffee sachets, tea bags, sugar, and milk. Guests with Ultra All Inclusive also receive bathrobes, slippers, and an espresso machine with daily replenishment.

Note on climate resilience fee

For stays from 1.1.2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and, from 1.1.2025, is staggered from 0.50 Euro–15 Euro per day and room.
