The Astoria is located at the entrance of the tranquil village of Agia Galini, just a few minutes' walk from the sand/pebble beach and the harbor promenade with its tavernas and shops. Heraklion Airport is 74 km away.

Junior Suite side sea view

The junior suites, with the same amenities, are more spacious, were renovated in 2025, and offer an additional seating area (J2S).

Penthouse Suite Superior Whirlpool Sea View

The suites were also renovated in 2025 and, with the same amenities as the double rooms, consist of one room with an additional sofa bed and a terrace with a private whirlpool, sun loungers, and sea view (PHS).

Meals

Breakfast or Half Board (May 1 - Oct 31)

Continental breakfast buffet from 8 AM to 11 AM.
If half board is booked, dinner is included. This is not taken at the hotel but at a taverna near the hotel. Drinks are available at an additional charge.
Stays in April and November are only bookable with breakfast.

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, payable by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room from 01.01.2025.
