Location

The Galini Mare is located at the entrance of Agia Galini. Its hillside position offers a fantastic view of the Mediterranean Sea and the Ideon Mountains. Shops and entertainment venues are nearby. The beach and the town center are about 150 m away, and the distance to Heraklion Airport is approx. 80 km.

The small complex has 20 rooms and offers a reception, bar, small shop with local and traditional products, a small library, and a breakfast room. Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available at the beach for a fee. In the outdoor area, there is a garden and a barbecue area for guests. Parking is available opposite the hotel.

Double room

The double rooms offer a bath or shower/WC, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning (included), safe (included), mini-fridge, and a balcony (D). Optionally, rooms with a side sea view (DMS) or a direct sea view without a balcony and with a Nespresso machine (BDM) are available for an extra charge.

Single room

These are double rooms for single occupancy (E/DE). Single occupancy rooms with a sea view but without a balcony (EOS) are available for an additional charge.

Superior Double room

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms feature a Nespresso machine and a direct sea view (DMU). They are also available for single occupancy (DME).

Apartment 2 bedrooms

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these apartments feature a living room with a sofa bed, a kitchenette with a dining and seating area, 2 WCs, and 2 separate bedrooms, but no balcony (A22).

Note on Climate Resilience Contribution

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government is levying a climate resilience contribution, payable locally by the guest, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from 01.01.2025.
