Location

The Galini Mare is located at the entrance of Agia Galini. The hillside location offers a fantastic view of the Mediterranean Sea and the Ideon Mountains. Shops and entertainment facilities are in the vicinity. The beach and the town center are about 150 m away, and the distance to Heraklion Airport is about 80 km.

The small complex has 20 rooms and offers a reception, bar, small shop with local and traditional products, a small library, and a breakfast room. Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for a fee. In the outdoor area, there is a garden and a barbecue area for guests. Parking is available opposite the hotel.

Are double rooms for single use (E/DE). Optionally, rooms for single use with sea view but without a balcony (EOS) can be booked for an extra charge.

In addition to the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms have a Nespresso machine and direct sea view (DMU). Also available for single use (DME).

Apartment 2 bedrooms

In addition to the same amenities as the double rooms, these apartments have a living room with a sofa bed, a kitchenette with a dining and seating area, 2 WCs, and 2 separate bedrooms, but no balcony (A22).

Note on Climate Resilience Fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which is payable by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, starting from January 1, 2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room.
