Location

Renovated in winter 24/25, the holiday resort is located on the outskirts of Rethymnon, about 6 km from the centre. The sandy beach with pebbles is located approx. 200 m from the hotel. The lively town of Adelianos Kambos with various shopping and entertainment options can be reached in a few minutes' walk. A bus stop and a taxi rank are in the immediate vicinity. Heraklion Airport can be reached after 72 km, Chania Airport after 68 km.

In addition to the best service and Greek hospitality, the well-maintained complex offers modern amenities and every comfort for a relaxing holiday. The hotel features 190 rooms, a 24-hour reception, lobby, lift, lounge with terrace, a small indoor pool, bar, and a main restaurant. Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex. The outdoor area features four swimming pools, one of which includes a small water park with 3 slides and a children's pool, as well as a baby pool with water features. The sun terraces offer plenty of space to relax, and a pool bar provides refreshments and snacks. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool and available for a fee at the beach. Bath towels can be borrowed for a deposit.

The more spacious Superior double rooms feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV with music channel, safe, air conditioning, mini-fridge, kettle with daily replenishment of coffee, tea, milk, and sugar, as well as a balcony or terrace (DSU). A bottle of water is provided in the room upon arrival (DSU/DSI). Also bookable for single use (DSE).

Double room Superior private pool

The more spacious Superior double rooms feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV with music channel, safe, air conditioning, mini-fridge, and a kettle with daily replenishment of coffee, tea, milk, and sugar. A bottle of wine is provided in the room upon arrival, and a bottle of water is provided daily. Furthermore, the rooms are equipped with a terrace with a private outdoor pool, bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries (U2P).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We request careful behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased potential danger for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, schauinsland-reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.

The varied cuisine of the main restaurant, with Greek and international dishes and show cooking, leaves nothing to be desired. The breakfast buffet with show cooking takes place from 7:15-10:30 a.m. For late risers, there is a smaller continental breakfast from 10:30-11 a.m. A generous buffet is served for lunch (12:30-2:30 p.m.) and dinner (6:30-9:30 p.m.). Juices, draught beer, house red and white wine, soft drinks, and still water are available with lunch and dinner.
In addition, snacks and salads are offered between 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., ice cream is available from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m., and a selection of cakes and cookies is served from 4-5 p.m.
Refreshments such as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, draught beer, local spirits, cocktails and mocktails, water from the dispenser, various local juices, house wine (white, rose, red), long drinks, coffee, and tea are available at the respective open bars from 10 a.m. until midnight.
Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are provided.
Smart casual dress is requested for dinner; beachwear is not permitted. For safety reasons, no glassware is allowed in the entire pool area. Alcoholic beverages are only served to guests 18 years and older.
