Location

The holiday resort, renovated in winter 24/25, is located on the outskirts of Rethymnon; the center is approximately 6 km away. The sand and pebble beach is located about 200 m from the hotel. The lively town of Adelianos Kambos, with its various shopping and entertainment venues, can be reached in a few minutes on foot. A bus stop and a taxi stand are located in the immediate vicinity. Heraklion Airport can be reached after 72 km, and Chania Airport after 68 km.

In addition to top-tier service and Greek hospitality, the well-maintained property offers modern facilities and every comfort for a relaxing vacation. The hotel features 190 rooms, a 24-hour reception, a lobby, an elevator, a lounge with a terrace, a small indoor pool, a bar, and a main restaurant. Wi-Fi is included throughout the property. The outdoor area includes four swimming pools, one of which features a small water park with 3 slides, a children's pool, and a baby pool with water features. The sun terraces offer plenty of space to relax, and a pool bar provides refreshments and snacks. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool and available for a fee at the beach. Bath towels can be borrowed for a deposit.

The more spacious Superior double rooms feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV with music channel, safe, air conditioning, mini-fridge, electric kettle with daily replenishment of coffee, tea, milk, and sugar, as well as a balcony or terrace (DSU). Upon arrival, a bottle of water is provided in the room (DSU/DSI). Also available for single occupancy (DSE).

Superior double room private pool

The more spacious Superior double rooms feature a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV with music channel, safe, air conditioning, mini-fridge, electric kettle with daily replenishment of coffee, tea, milk, and sugar. Upon arrival, a bottle of wine is provided in the room; a bottle of water is provided daily. Furthermore, the terrace is equipped with a private outdoor pool, bathrobes, slippers, and care products (U2P).
The private pool is not monitored by a lifeguard. Please behave with caution and pay special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential hazard for young children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

The varied cuisine of the main restaurant, with Greek and international dishes as well as show cooking, leaves nothing to be desired. The breakfast buffet with show cooking takes place from 7:15 am to 10:30 am. For late sleepers, a smaller continental breakfast is available from 10:30 am to 11 am. Lunch (12:30 pm - 2:30 pm) and dinner (6:30 pm - 9:30 pm) are served as a generous buffet. Juices, draft beer, house red and white wine, soft drinks, and still water are available during lunch and dinner.
Additionally, snacks and salads are offered between 10:30 am and 5:30 pm, ice cream is available from 10 am to 5:30 pm, and a selection of cakes and cookies is available from 4 pm to 5 pm.
At the respective open bars, refreshments such as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, draft beer, local spirits, cocktails and mocktails, water from the dispenser, various local juices, house wine (white, rose, red), long drinks, coffee, and tea are available from 10 am to midnight.
Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are offered.
Elegant casual attire is requested for dinner; beachwear is not permitted. For safety reasons, glassware is not permitted in the entire pool area. Alcoholic beverages are served only to guests 18 years and older.

Note on climate resilience fee

For stays starting from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and has been scaled from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room since January 1, 2025.
For stays during the high season (April 1 - October 31):

Land category 4 Stars: 10 euros
