Location

This resort is located near Kardamena with a magnificent view of the island of Nissiros. Situated directly on the gently sloping sandy/pebble beach, which has a small marina. In the town of Kardamena, approximately 3.5 km away, you will find entertainment and shopping facilities such as bars, tavernas, and discotheques. Kos town is about 30 km away, and the airport is approximately 9 km away. Due to the proximity to the airport, occasional disturbances may occur. A bus stop is located about 450 m away.

The Porto Bello Royal is a comfortable resort with Mediterranean architecture, featuring multi-story annex and bungalow buildings. The complex has a total of 418 rooms and is surrounded by a spacious pool and lagoon landscape that harmoniously winds through the entire resort.
The elegant main building houses a spacious reception area with a 24-hour reception, a lobby with a lounge bar and terrace, cozy seating areas, and an elevator. The offering is complemented by a mini-market and a boutique. For culinary variety, there is the main restaurant with an outdoor terrace, the "Burger Project," an Italian restaurant in the evening, a Greek taverna, and a Mediterranean Restaurant at lunchtime (reservations required for all), as well as the "Gelateria" ice cream parlor. For relaxation, an indoor whirlpool and an indoor pool are available, the latter exclusively for adults.
The outdoor area offers spacious sun terraces with several seawater pools, a separate children's pool, two whirlpools, and a pool and beach bar. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included at the pools and on the beach. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel complex.
For a fee, you can also use the water park of the sister hotel Porto Bello Beach (KGS065).

The double rooms are equipped with a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, satellite TV, telephone, coffee/tea maker, mini-fridge, minibar (for a fee, upon request), balcony or terrace, and garden view (D).
Also available as super saver rooms with a bathtub (SSZ) or at an additional charge as double rooms Superior with partial sea view (D2S).

Single Room

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are available for single occupancy (DE).

Double Room Swim Up

In addition to the standard double room amenities, these rooms feature bathrobes and slippers, as well as direct pool access (SWD).
Optionally available with direct pool access and sea view (MBS) at an additional charge.
The sharing pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Therefore, please pay close attention to your children when using this area and act with caution.

Double Room Private Pool

In addition to the standard double room amenities, these rooms feature a walk-in shower, bathrobes and slippers, a minibar with daily replenishment of soft drinks and water, and a private pool (PPZ).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Therefore, please pay close attention to your children when using this area and act with caution.

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government is imposing a climate resilience levy, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, as of 01.01.2025, will range from 0.50 Euro to 15 € per day and room.
For stays during the high season from April 1st to October 31st:
