Location

This resort is located near Kardamena with a magnificent view of the island of Nisyros. Situated directly on a gently sloping sandy/pebble beach, where a small marina is located. In the town of Kardamena, approximately 3.5 km away, there are entertainment and shopping facilities such as bars, taverns, and nightclubs. Kos Town is about 30 km away, and it is approximately 9 km to the airport. Due to the proximity of the airport, occasional noise disturbances may occur. A bus stop is located approx. 450 m away.

The Porto Bello Royal is a comfortable resort in Mediterranean architecture featuring multi-story annex and bungalow buildings. The resort has a total of 418 rooms and is surrounded by a spacious pool and lagoon landscape that winds harmoniously through the entire property.
The elegant main building houses a sprawling reception hall with a 24-hour reception desk, a lobby with a lounge bar and terrace, cozy seating areas, and a lift. The amenities are complemented by a mini-market and a boutique. For culinary variety, the main restaurant with an outdoor terrace, the "Burger Project," an Italian restaurant in the evening, a Greek tavern, as well as a Mediterranean restaurant at lunch (each by reservation) and the "Gelateria" ice cream bar are available. For relaxation, an indoor whirlpool and an indoor pool are provided, the latter exclusively for adults.
The outdoor area offers spacious sun terraces with several seawater pools, a separate children's pool, two whirlpools, and a pool and beach bar. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included at the pools and on the beach. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the entire hotel grounds.
For an additional fee, the water park of the sister hotel Porto Bello Beach (KGS065) can also be used.

The double rooms are equipped with bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, satellite TV, telephone, coffee/tea maker, mini-fridge, minibar (for a fee, upon request), balcony or terrace, and garden view (D).
Optionally bookable as a super-saver room with a bathtub (SSZ) or for an extra charge as a Double Room Superior with partial sea view (D2S/2I).

These feature the same amenities as the double rooms but are bookable for single occupancy (DE).

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these also feature bathrobes and direct pool access (SWD).

Breakfast buffet (7:30-10:30 a.m.), late riser breakfast (10:30-11:00 a.m.), lunch (12:30-2:00 p.m.) and dinner in buffet form (7:00-9:30 p.m.). Lunch is also possible in the tavern or the Mediterranean restaurant, and dinner in the Italian restaurant (1x per stay included, bottled wines for a fee) or in the "Burger Project," each by prior reservation. From 2027, a Greek restaurant will additionally be available (1x per stay included, bottled wines for a fee). A reservation is also required for this.
Warm and cold snacks (12:00-5:00 p.m.), coffee/tea and pastries (4:30-5:00 p.m.), midnight snacks (11:30 p.m.-0:00 a.m.), as well as ice cream in the Gelateria (10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.).
National and selected international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included from 10:00 a.m.-0:00 a.m. at the respective open bar.
Gentlemen are requested to wear appropriate clothing and closed shoes for dinner. Sports or swimwear is not allowed.
