Location

In a quiet location, idyllically situated on a hillside with a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Athos. The beautiful sandy/pebble beach, awarded the "Blue Flag" every year, is only approx. 100m away and can be reached via a pedestrian bridge with stairs. The town of Ouranoupolis with its many taverns, cafés and shops is approx. 2km away; a transfer service is offered for a fee. A public bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel. The distance to Thessaloniki airport is approx. 120km. Due to the distance, we offer our guests a direct transfer, which takes approx. 2 hours.

This facility, which is very popular with regular guests and families and has an international character, can be booked as a Schauinsland-Reisen Original. The hotel is built in the local style and consists of several buildings. Facilities include 266 rooms, a reception, a bar, a main restaurant with a spacious outdoor terrace, a Greek tavern (à la carte), a boutique and a mini-market. Wi-Fi is included throughout the hotel complex. In the beautiful, extensive outdoor area, there is a swimming pool surrounded by comfortable sun loungers, sun umbrellas and lounge sofas, the pool bar and the amphitheater. The cozy lounge area in the garden has a fantastic sea view and invites you to relax. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at both the pool and the beach. Bath towels are available to guests for a deposit and a fee (towel change every 3 days is free of charge). A beach bar belonging to the hotel is available to guests at the beach. Comfortable lounge furniture offers ideal conditions for relaxing here. Parking at the hotel is free of charge.

Double room

These tastefully furnished rooms offer a wonderful sense of well-being. They feature a new shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, air conditioning, refrigerator, satellite TV, coffee/tea station (replenished daily) as well as a balcony or terrace (D/DA).
Some rooms may be located in the basement.
Optionally also bookable as Type C with half-board plus (DC), with pool/side sea view (PM/2PM) or for single use in the basement with garden/land view (DE).

Double room private pool

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these are located on the ground floor and feature an outdoor terrace with sun loungers and a private pool (PPZ).
The double rooms with private pool are not monitored by a lifeguard. Please take special care of your children and act prudently when using this area.

Double room side sea view

Also bookable with side sea view (DMS/DIS/AMS/SMB) with the same amenities as the double rooms.
Optionally also bookable with an additional bunk bed (SDO), for single use (DES), as Type F (TF2, limited availability as hotel-only) or as Type C (DSC, with half-board plus).

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms feature a panoramic sea view (2RA).

Also modernly equipped like the double rooms, the suites consist of a combined living/bedroom with two sofa beds and a separate bedroom with a double bed. Furthermore, they feature 2 bathrooms with shower/WC as well as a balcony with sea view (S2M/2MA).
Optionally also bookable as a family suite with the same amenities (2FM).

Honeymoon Suite

The suites, which can only be booked for adults, feature an open bathroom with two rain showers, two sinks, WC, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, beach towels, air conditioning/heating, telephone, 2 satellite TVs, Wi-Fi, safe, mini-refrigerator, coffee/tea maker as well as a furnished balcony with a direct sea view. Wine is provided in the room upon arrival (HS2).

Breakfast buffet with show cooking from 7:45 am to 10:30 am. For dinner from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, international and local dishes are offered at the varied buffet and at the show cooking stations.
Theme evenings take place 3 times a week. Coffee, tea and juices are included for breakfast, and beer, house wine, soft drinks, juices, tea and coffee are included for dinner.
For guests arriving after 9:00 pm, a cold plate and a bottle of water are provided in the room.
Continental breakfast from 6:30 am to 7:45 am on request.
Gluten-free and lactose-free meals are offered. Please contact the reception upon arrival.

Breakfast buffet with show cooking from 7:45 am to 10:30 am. At lunch, an international buffet is available from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. For dinner from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, international and local dishes are offered at the varied buffet and at the show cooking stations.
Theme evenings take place 3 times a week, ice cream is available at lunch and dinner.
Optionally, our guests can have lunch or dinner as a set menu (AI drinks included) in the Greek tavern several times per stay (from 3 nights), a reservation is required (3 days in advance). Drinks such as draft beer, house wine, soft drinks and juices are included; branded drinks are available for an extra charge.
Alternatively, our guests can visit the à la carte restaurant at lunch and dinner without a reservation (subject to availability) and receive a 25% discount on food and drinks.
From 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, the pool bar offers cake.
At the beach bar, coffee, soft drinks and draft beer are available from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The pool bar serves national alcoholic drinks (white, rosé and red wine as well as draft beer) from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, as well as national alcoholic drinks such as gin, vodka, rum, whiskey and Greek spirits (Ouzo, Tsipouro). In addition, the pool bar offers a selection of cocktails and long drinks. Furthermore, non-alcoholic drinks such as soft drinks, juices, iced tea, various specialties from the fully automatic coffee machine and tea.
At the main bar, guests can also choose from 10 different alcoholic cocktails and 3 non-alcoholic cocktails daily from 6:00 pm to midnight.
For guests arriving after 9:00 pm, a cold plate and a bottle of water are provided in the room.

Sports for a fee

Pool billiards, table soccer, water sports such as water skiing, diving, banana boat as well as boat rentals through local providers.
Our recommendation: Explore the offshore islands of Amouliani and Drenia Islands independently. You can take a swimming break at one of the dreamlike beaches. The boats can also be rented without a boat license.

Children's program

Destination information: Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government has introduced a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
