Location

In a quiet location, idyllically situated on a hillside with a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Athos. The beautiful sand/pebble beach, awarded the "Blue Flag" every year, is only approx. 100m away and can be reached via a pedestrian bridge with stairs. The town of Ouranoupolis with its many taverns, cafés, and shops is approx. 2km away; a transfer service is offered for a fee. A public bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel. The distance to Thessaloniki Airport is approx. 120km. Due to the distance, we offer our guests a direct transfer, which takes about 2 hours.

The complex, very popular with regular guests and families, with an international flair, is bookable as a schauinsland-reisen original. The hotel is built in a traditional style and consists of several buildings. Facilities include 266 rooms, a reception, the bar, the main restaurant with a spacious outdoor terrace, a Greek taverna (à la carte), a boutique, and a mini-market. Wi-Fi is included throughout the hotel complex. In the beautiful, extensive outdoor area, there is a swimming pool surrounded by comfortable loungers, umbrellas, and lounge sofas, the pool bar, and the amphitheater. The cozy lounge area in the garden offers a fantastic sea view and invites relaxation. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included both at the pool and on the beach. Guests can get bath towels for a deposit and a fee (towel change is free every 3 days). A beach bar, belonging to the hotel, is available for guests on the beach. Comfortable lounge furniture provides the ideal setting for relaxation. Parking spaces at the hotel are free of charge.

Double room

The tastefully furnished rooms offer a particularly pleasant stay. They have a new shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, air conditioning, refrigerator, satellite TV, coffee/tea station (replenished daily), and a balcony or terrace (D/DA).
The rooms may be located partly in the basement.
Also optionally available as type C with half-board plus (DC), with pool/side sea view (PM/2PM), or for single use in the basement with garden/land view (DE).

Double room with private pool

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these are located on the ground floor and have an outdoor terrace with sun loungers and a private pool (PPZ).
The double rooms with private pool are not supervised by a lifeguard. Therefore, please pay special attention to your children when using this area and behave responsibly.

Double room with side sea view

Also bookable with side sea view (DMS/DIS/AMS/SMB) with the same amenities as the double rooms.
Also optionally available with an additional bunk bed (SDO), for single use (DES), as type F (TF2, limited quota as hotel-only) or as type C (DSC, with half-board plus).

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms offer a panoramic sea view (2RA).

Suite

Also modernly equipped like the double rooms, the suites consist of a combined living/sleeping area with two sofa beds and a separate bedroom with a double bed. They also have 2 bathrooms with shower/WC and a balcony with sea view (S2M/2MA).
Also optionally bookable as a family suite with the same amenities (2FM).

Honeymoon Suite

The suites, which are only bookable for adults, have an open-plan bathroom with two rain showers, two sinks, WC, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, beach towels, air conditioning/heating, telephone, 2 satellite TVs, Wi-Fi, safe, mini-fridge, coffee/tea maker, and a furnished balcony with direct sea view. Wine is provided in the room upon arrival (HN2).

Breakfast buffet with show cooking from 7:45 AM to 10:30 AM. For dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, international and local dishes are offered at the varied buffet as well as at the show cooking stations.
Theme nights take place 3 times a week. Coffee, tea, and juices are included at breakfast, and beer, house wine, soft drinks, juices, tea, and coffee are included at dinner.
For guests arriving after 9:00 PM, a cold platter and a bottle of water will be provided in the room.
Continental breakfast from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM available on request.
Gluten- and lactose-free meals are offered. Please contact reception upon arrival.

All inclusive

Breakfast buffet with show cooking from 7:45 AM to 10:30 AM. Lunch is served from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM with an international buffet. For dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, international and local dishes are offered at the varied buffet as well as at the show cooking stations.
Theme nights take place 3 times a week, and ice cream is available during lunch and dinner.
Alternatively, guests can dine at the Greek taverna for lunch or dinner several times during their stay (from 3 nights onwards) with a set menu (all-inclusive drinks included), reservation required (3 days in advance). Drinks such as draft beer, house wine, soft drinks, and juices are included; branded drinks are available at an extra charge.
Alternatively, guests can visit the à la carte restaurant for lunch and dinner without reservation (subject to availability) and receive a 25% discount on food and drinks.
From 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the pool bar offers cake.
At the beach bar, coffee, soft drinks, and draft beer are available from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The pool bar serves national alcoholic beverages (white, rosé, and red wine, as well as draft beer) and national spirits such as gin, vodka, rum, whiskey, and Greek spirits (Ouzo, Tsipouro) from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The pool bar also offers a selection of cocktails and long drinks. Additionally, non-alcoholic beverages such as soft drinks, juices, iced tea, various specialty coffees from the automatic coffee machine, and tea.
At the main bar, guests can choose daily from 10 different alcoholic cocktails and 3 non-alcoholic cocktails from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
For guests arriving after 9:00 PM, a cold platter and a bottle of water will be provided in the room.

Sports for a fee

Pool billiards, table football, water sports such as water skiing, diving, banana boat, and boat rental by local providers.
Our recommendation: Explore the offshore islands of Amouliani and Drenia Islands independently. You can stop for a swim at one of the beautiful beaches. The boats can also be rented without a boat license.

Children's program

Playground in the hotel, separate children's pool, and baby cots available on request (included). Children's animation (4-12 years) from June 15th to September 15th.

Information regarding climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and ranges from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room as of January 1, 2025.
