Location

Located in the heart of Chalkidiki on the Kassandra peninsula, the hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature and invites guests to rest and relax.
The picturesque, hotel-owned sand/pebble beach is about 2.5 km away and is the ideal starting point for relaxing with its beach bar (from 12 years). The town centre is approx. 1.5 km away and Thessaloniki Airport is approx. 75 km away.

Opened in 1996, the traditionally managed "Petrino Eco Village" hotel impresses with its unique composition of style and natural ambiance. Laid out like a small village and equipped with 33 lovingly furnished rooms spread across 40 small houses, it creates an immediate home-like feeling. The hotel has a reception and Wi-Fi (included in outdoor areas). Culinary and traditional dishes, grown in the hotel's own organic garden, are served in the bistro at the pool bar. In the outdoor area, nestled in a lush garden, is the swimming pool with a separate children's pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool; they are available for a fee at the hotel's own beach bar (adults only) on the beach.

Junior Suite

The large, modernized rooms feature a combined living/bedroom with a king-size bed, wardrobe, bath or shower/WC and toiletries, hairdryer, slippers, telephone, flatscreen satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included on the veranda), air conditioning, and a mini-fridge (empty). All junior suites are located on the ground floor and have a private, furnished terrace with a garden view (JS2).

Family Room

With identical basic equipment to the junior suites, the family rooms consist of 2 separate bedrooms and offer sufficient space, especially for families (DF2).

Superior Maisonette

With the same equipment as the junior suites, the maisonettes are spread over 2 floors. The living room with a sofa bed is located on the lower level, and the master bedroom is on the upper level. Both levels are connected by a wooden staircase (2MI).

Superior Maisonette with Private Pool

Featuring the same equipment as the Superior Maisonette, these also include a coffee machine, bathrobes and pool towels, as well as their own small furnished garden and private pool. Guests in the private pool maisonettes also receive a fresh fruit basket and a bottle of wine upon arrival in the room. Furthermore, breakfast can be enjoyed comfortably in bed (MT2).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Premium Maisonette

With identical basic equipment to the Superior Maisonettes, the Premium Maisonettes feature an additional separate bedroom on the lower level, a smart TV, and a coffee machine.
Additionally, a fresh fruit basket and a bottle of wine are provided in the room upon arrival for Premium Maisonette bookings. Furthermore, breakfast can be enjoyed in bed upon request to start the day completely relaxed (2MN).

Self-catering.
When booking breakfast, guests are served a breakfast basket with a selection of traditional dishes in their rooms, or it can be taken in the small buffet restaurant.
All meals are lovingly prepared in a traditional Greek style. Many of the products offered were grown specifically and come from the hotel's own organic garden.

Destination information - Climate resilience levy

For stays starting from 1.1.2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest locally, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room starting 1.1.2025.
