Location

The adults-only hotel (for guests aged 14 and over) is idyllically situated in the spa town of Oberwiesenthal, at the foot of the Fichtelberg, with views of the mountains and the reservoir. The town center is just a few minutes' walk away. The cross-border hiking trail network, spanning over 300 km, invites you to extensive walks and mountain bike tours. In winter, over 15 km of downhill slopes, 70 km of cross-country trails, and 2 km of toboggan runs on the Fichtelberg beckon.

The friendly hotel, partially renovated in 2024, offers a total of 172 rooms, a reception, an indoor pool, and a terrace, as well as the beautiful "AHORNWell" wellness area with a Finnish sauna, steam bath, and relaxation room. For your culinary well-being, there is a breakfast room, a restaurant, the hotel bar, and a cozy lounge. Cyclists can use the hotel's own lockable bicycle storage room.

The double rooms (D, approx. 22-24 sqm) have a double bed or two single beds, a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, and cosmetic mirror, flat-screen TV, telephone, coffee/tea maker, minibar (for a fee), seating area, and safe.
Also bookable for single occupancy (E) as an option.

The Maisonette Studios (S12, approx. 26 sqm) feature a staircase leading to an open sleeping gallery with a queen-size bed, a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, and cosmetic mirror, flat-screen TV, telephone, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, seating area, safe, and a balcony with mountain views.
