Just 40 km from Dresden, nestled in the popular hiking and winter sports region of the spa town Altenberg, the AHORN Waldhotel Altenberg is located in the district of Schellerhau, a state-recognized climatic health resort. The family accommodation (DF2, approx. 34 m²) consists of two double rooms next to each other (without connecting door) or opposite each other.

Arrival by car

Coming from the A4 motorway from Chemnitz/Leipzig/Dresden, take exit 77b – Dreieck Dresden-West and switch to the A17 towards Prague/Pirna/Dresden-Gorbitz. At exit 8 – Bad Gottleuba, drive towards S174n. Turn left and switch to the S174 towards Altenberg until the Lauenstein railway crossing. There, turn left onto Dresdner Straße/S178, which leads to Altenberg.
In Altenberg, move to the right lane and drive onto Zinnwalder Straße/B170. Follow the main road from there and turn off towards Schellerhau. At the Botanical Garden in Schellerhau, follow the main road, where you will reach the AHORN Waldhotel Altenberg on the left after approx. 500 m.
