The Sauerland Stern Hotel is the holiday and vacation eldorado for the whole family in the center of Germany. It is located in a charming landscape of North Hesse, at the foot of the Ettelsberg with the highest moorland in Europe, in the ski-world-cup resort of Willingen.

In the 4-star hotel Sauerland Stern, business travelers, families and active vacationers enjoy the special amenities of the centrally located hotel. In the comfortably furnished rooms, you will find the atmosphere of well-being you are looking for. Relaxation can be found in the wellness area or in the hotel's own swimming pool. Family room "Privilege"

The spacious family rooms of the "Privilege" category (DF2, approx. 45 sqm) are equipped with a combined living/sleeping area with three sofa beds (approx. 90x190 cm) as sleeping arrangements for a 3rd adult or up to 3 children, 32-inch LED flatscreen with satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, direct dial telephone, safe, a separate bedroom with a double bed (approx. 200x210 cm) and a bathroom with bathtub/toilet, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, as well as a balcony.

Sports for a fee

Ice rink and 3D cinema connected directly to the hotel by local providers.
Currently, due to the new construction of the Lagunenbad, the underground access to the cinema and ice rink is closed.
In the immediate vicinity, there is an adventure mini-golf course, the Dino and leisure park, and the Hochheideturm – the highest climbing and observation tower in Northwest Germany. And in winter, the Willingen winter paradise awaits ski and snow enthusiasts. Tickets available at the reception.

Indoor playground with bouncy castles, game console, foosball table, billiards table, table tennis tables, air hockey, badminton, volleyball and play corner, as well as a weather-independent leisure and animation program for the whole family with, among other things, sports tournaments, children's bingo, arts and crafts fun, hikes and excursions, and much more.

Ski info: As a small ski and toboggan area north of the Alps, Willingen offers snow fun for everyone. Artificial snowmaking facilities (from -3°C) guarantee the best winter sports conditions. The slopes and cross-country trails can be reached on foot or by shuttle service (partially for a fee) from the hotel. Personal contact for ski rental, ski school, etc. is available in the hotel when ski operations are running.
