The Sauerland Stern Hotel is a holiday and vacation paradise for the whole family in the heart of Germany. It is located in the charming landscape of Northern Hesse, at the foot of the Ettelsberg mountain, home to the highest heathland in Europe, in the Ski World Cup resort of Willingen.

The spacious "Standard" category double rooms (D, approx. 30 m²) are equipped with a double bed (approx. 200x210 cm), 32-inch LED flatscreen TV with satellite reception, free Wi-Fi, direct-dial telephone, safe, two sofa beds (approx. 90x190 cm) as sleeping options for a 3rd adult or up to two children, bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, as well as a balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (DE) or as a single with child (D1K).

Family room "Privilege"

The spacious "Privilege" category family rooms (DF2, approx. 45 m²) are equipped with a combined living/sleeping area with three sofa beds (approx. 90x190 cm) as sleeping options for a 3rd adult or up to 3 children, 32-inch LED flatscreen TV with satellite reception, free Wi-Fi, direct-dial telephone, safe, a separate bedroom with a double bed (approx. 200x210 cm), and a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, as well as a balcony.

When booking Half board Plus: additional dinner buffet incl. drinks (beer, house wine, soft drinks) from approx. 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM for self-service.

Sports for a fee

Lagunenbad swimming pool (hotel guests receive discounted entry upon presentation of their hotel card), ice rink, and 3D cinema provided by local operators (connected underground to the hotel). Skywalk Willingen at the World Cup ski jump.
In the immediate vicinity, there is an adventure mini-golf course, the Dino and Leisure Park, and the Hochheideturm – the highest climbing and observation tower in North-West Germany. In winter, the winter paradise of Willingen looks forward to ski and snow enthusiasts. Tickets are available at the reception.
