Designed according to the most modern standards, the GRIFID Metropol hotel is separated from the beautiful, fine sandy beach only by the promenade. The high-quality facilities of this adults-only hotel (from 16 years of age) offer every conceivable comfort. In the immediate vicinity are the two sister hotels, GRIFID Vistamar and Aqua Club GRIFID Bolero, where guests can dine in the numerous gourmet restaurants as part of the Dine-Around program. Shopping and entertainment options are located approximately 500 m away. The city of Varna is about 15 km away and the airport is about 25 km away. Transfer time is approximately 40 minutes.

The hotel is designed for guests aged 16 and over and is particularly suitable for couples. It offers a feel-good atmosphere of excellent quality with magnificent sea views, à la carte service, stylish design, and culinary delicacies. There are 136 rooms over 11 floors, a lobby with a piano bar and a beautiful terrace overlooking the promenade, a TV corner, three à la carte restaurants, a beach bar, a sky bar with a breathtaking view of the sea, and a GRIFID Logo Shop. In the outdoor area, there is an infinity pool with a sun terrace and pool bar, and a relax pool with a natural stone floor and a sand-covered pool terrace. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are included at the pool (subject to availability). One umbrella and two sun loungers per room are included at the beach (subject to availability). The cabanas (Bali beds) on the beach are available for a fee.

Accommodation

Double room side sea view

The double rooms with side sea view are equipped with laminate flooring and feature a bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers, high-quality "RITUALS" toiletries, a sleep accessory bag, air conditioning (centrally controlled), telephone, satellite TV, safe (included), Wi-Fi (included), minibar (daily refill included), capsule coffee machine (daily refill included), and a balcony. A bottle of drinking water is provided as a gift; there are water dispensers for refilling in the corridors and a fitness kit in the room upon request (DMS). Single rooms are also available for an extra charge (EMS).

Junior suite side sea view

The junior suites are more spacious and, otherwise identical in equipment to the double rooms, additionally feature a seating/sleeping area (visually separated), a separate shower in the bathroom, and a side sea view (JS2/JSI).
Junior suites on the upper floors (J2S) with a wonderful view over the entire Golden Sands coast and a side sea view are available for an extra charge.

Double room beach front

The beach front double rooms, otherwise identical in equipment to the double rooms with side sea view, offer a direct sea view (BF2).

The beach front suites (approx. 50-60 m²) feature a living/bedroom with two sofa beds, a separate bedroom with a French bed, bathroom/shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, bathrobe, high-quality "RITUALS" toiletries, a fitness kit in the room (upon request), air conditioning (centrally controlled), telephone, satellite TV, safe (included), Wi-Fi (included), minibar (daily refill included), capsule coffee machine (daily refill included), and a furnished balcony (BS2).

Breakfast (approx. 7:30-10:00 AM), lunch, and dinner are served à la carte, including a cold buffet. Late riser breakfast (approx. 10:00 AM-12:00 PM) in the Italian restaurant, and in the afternoon, pizza, pasta, salads, ice cream, and homemade cakes and pastries in the lobby bar. A selection of high-quality Bulgarian and international wines is available to guests in all restaurants. Optionally, dinner can also be taken in the "Fusion" restaurant or in the Italian à la carte restaurant by reservation (approx. 6:30-9:30 PM).
Every 10 days, a gala evening takes place, and alternatingly, a BBQ grill evening in the high season (July and August). Also in the high season (July and August), special evenings with magic cocktails take place in the sky bar.
Local and international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available at the pool bar from approx. 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the sky bar from approx. 8:00 PM to midnight, and at the piano bar from approx. 3:00 PM to midnight. Bio & Healthy at the infinity pool bar with delicious smoothies, matcha shakes, and fruit-infused water. Delicious cold drinks (iced coffee menu) are also available at the beach bar, as well as additional alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from approx. 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The beach bar also offers a snack selection from approx. 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Grifid Dine Around Program (reservation required): Various culinary directions, including molecular cuisine, fish restaurant, Italian, Bulgarian, Asian, Yok evening, Mediterranean, French, and Rodizio in the 3 GRIFID hotels Bolero, Metropol, and Vistamar (reservation requested). Additionally, dinner once per stay in the Sky Restaurant at GRIFID Vistamar (minimum stay 6 nights, with prior reservation).
In all hotels of the GRIFID hotel group, guests can use the All Inclusive service until their transfer pickup time.
