Location

The GRIFID Metropol hotel, designed with modern principles in mind, is separated from the beautiful, fine sandy beach only by the promenade. The high-quality facilities of this adults-only hotel (16 years and over) offer every conceivable comfort. The sister hotels GRIFID Vistamar and Aqua Club GRIFID Bolero are located in the immediate vicinity, where guests can dine in the numerous gourmet restaurants as part of the Dine-Around program. Shops and entertainment facilities are approximately 500 m away. The city of Varna can be reached in approx. 15 km and the airport is about 25 km away. Transfer time approx. 40 minutes.

The hotel is designed for guests aged 16 and over and is particularly suitable for couples. It offers a feel-good atmosphere of excellent quality with magnificent sea views, à la carte service, stylish design, and culinary delights. There are 136 rooms on 11 floors, a lobby with a piano bar, a TV corner, three à la carte restaurants, a beach bar, a sky bar, and a Grifid Logo Shop. Outdoors, there is an infinity pool with a sun terrace and pool bar, and a relaxation pool with a natural stone floor and a sand-covered pool terrace. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available to hotel guests by the pool free of charge (subject to availability). One umbrella and two sun loungers are included per room on the beach (subject to availability). Cabanas (Bali beds) on the beach are available for a fee.

Accommodation

Double room with side sea view

The double rooms are equipped with laminate flooring and feature a bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers, high-quality "RITUALS" toiletries, sleep accessory kit, air conditioning (central control), telephone, satellite TV, safe (included), Wi-Fi (included), minibar (daily refill included), capsule coffee machine (daily refill included), and a balcony. A bottle of drinking water is provided as a gift, and there are water dispensers in the corridors for refilling. A fitness kit is available in the room upon request (DMS). Also available for single use as EMS (single room with side sea view) at an additional charge.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites, with all other features the same as the double rooms, are more spacious and additionally equipped with a seating/sleeping area (visually separated), a separate shower in the bathroom, and a side sea view (JS2).
Junior Suites on the upper floors (J2M) with a beautiful view over the entire Golden Sands coast and a side sea view are available at an additional charge.

Beach Front

The Beach Front double rooms, with all other features the same as the double rooms with side sea view, have a direct sea view (BF2).

Beach Front Suite

The Beach Front Suites (approx. 50-60 m²) feature a living/sleeping area with two sofa beds, a separate bedroom with a French bed, bath/shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, bathrobe, high-quality "RITUALS" toiletries, fitness kit in the room (on request), air conditioning (central control), telephone, satellite TV, safe (included), Wi-Fi (included), minibar (daily refill included), capsule coffee machine (daily refill included), and a furnished balcony (BS2).

Breakfast (approx. 7:30 AM - 10 AM), lunch, and dinner are served à la carte, accompanied by a cold buffet. Late risers' breakfast (approx. 10 AM - 12 PM) is available at the Italian restaurant, and in the afternoon, pizza, pasta, salads, ice cream, and homemade cakes and pastries are served in the lobby bar. A selection of quality Bulgarian and international wines is available to guests in all restaurants. Alternatively, dinner can also be enjoyed at the "Fusion" restaurant or the Italian à la carte restaurant with a reservation (approx. 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM).
Every 10 days, a Gala Evening is held, alternating with a BBQ Grill Night during peak season (July and August). Also during peak season (July and August), special evenings with Magic Cocktails are regularly held at the Skybar.
Local and imported alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available at the pool bar from approx. 10 AM - 5 PM, at the Sky bar (approx. 8 PM - 12 AM), and at the Piano bar from approx. 3 PM - 12 AM. Organic & Healthy options are available at the Infinity Pool Bar with delicious smoothies and fruit-infused water, and tasty cool drinks (iced coffee menu) at the beach bar, as well as Bulgarian alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, daily from approx. 10 AM - 5 PM. The beach bar also offers a selection of snacks from approx. 12 PM - 5 PM.
Grifid Dine Around Program (reservation required): Various culinary themes including molecular cuisine, fish restaurant, Italian, Bulgarian, Asian, Mongolian, Mediterranean, European, and Rodizio at the 3 GRIFID Hotels Bolero, Metropol, and Vistamar (reservation recommended). Additionally, once per stay, enjoy dinner at the Sky Restaurant in Vistamar (minimum stay of 6 nights, with advance booking).
In all GRIFID Hotel Group hotels, guests can utilize the All-Inclusive services until their scheduled transfer pick-up time.

Sports included

Fitness room (free entry to the professional fitness studio at GRIFID Encanto hotel, approx. 7 minutes' walk along the promenade), bocce, and yoga classes. At the Bolero hotel, there is a multi-purpose sports field with tennis, football, volleyball, and basketball courts, table tennis, darts, foot tennis, air rifle shooting, and a selection of board games.
