Location

The GRIFID Metropol Hotel, designed with modern principles in mind, is located just across the promenade from the beautiful, fine-sand beach. The high-quality facilities of this adults-only hotel (16+ years) offer every conceivable comfort. In the immediate vicinity are its sister hotels, GRIFID Vistamar and Aqua Club GRIFID Bolero, where guests can dine in the numerous gourmet restaurants as part of the Dine-Around program. Shops and entertainment venues are approximately 500 m away. The city of Varna is about 15 km away, and the airport is approximately 25 km away. Transfer time approx. 40 minutes.

The hotel is designed for guests aged 16 and over and is particularly suitable for couples. It offers a superior quality wellness atmosphere with magnificent sea views, à la carte service, stylish design, and culinary delights. There are 136 rooms spread across 11 floors, a lobby with a piano bar, a TV corner, three à la carte restaurants, a beach bar, a sky bar, and a Grifid Logo Shop. The outdoor area features an infinity pool with a sun terrace and pool bar, and a relaxation pool with a natural stone floor and a sand-covered pool terrace. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available free of charge for hotel guests at the pool (subject to availability). One umbrella and two sun loungers per room are included on the beach (subject to availability). Cabanas (Bali beds) on the beach are available for a fee.

Accommodation

Double room with side sea view

The double rooms have laminate flooring and feature a bathroom/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers, high-quality "RITUALS" cosmetics, a sleep accessory kit, air conditioning (central control), telephone, satellite TV, safe (included), Wi-Fi (included), minibar (daily refill included), capsule coffee machine (daily refill included), and a balcony. A bottle of drinking water is provided as a gift, and there are water dispensers in the corridors for refilling. A fitness kit is available in the room upon request (DMS). Also available for single occupancy as EMS (single room with side sea view) at an additional charge.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites, with otherwise identical amenities to the double rooms, are more spacious and additionally feature a sitting/sleeping area (visually separated) and a separate shower in the bathroom, with a side sea view (JS2).
Junior Suites on upper floors (J2M) with a wonderful view over the entire Golden Sands coastline and side sea view are available at an additional charge.

Beach Front

The Beach Front double rooms, with otherwise identical amenities to the double rooms with side sea view, have direct sea views (BF2).

The Beach Front Suites (approx. 50-60 m²) feature a living/sleeping area with two sofa beds, a separate bedroom with a French bed, bath/shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, bathrobe, high-quality "RITUALS" toiletries, a fitness kit in the room (upon request), air conditioning (central control), telephone, satellite TV, safe (included), Wi-Fi (included), minibar (daily refill included), capsule coffee machine (daily refill included), and a furnished balcony (BS2).

All Inclusive

Premium All Inclusive

Breakfast (approx. 7:30 AM-10 AM), lunch, and dinner are served à la carte with a cold buffet. Late risers' breakfast (approx. 10 AM-12 PM) is available at the Italian restaurant, and in the afternoon, pizza, pasta, salads, ice cream, and homemade cakes and pastries are served at the lobby bar. A selection of quality Bulgarian and international wines is available to guests in all restaurants. Alternatively, dinner can be enjoyed at the "Fusion" restaurant or the Italian à la carte restaurant with reservation (approx. 6:30 PM-9:30 PM).
Every 10 days, a gala dinner is held, alternating with a BBQ grill night during the high season (July and August). Also during the high season (July & August), special Magic Cocktail evenings take place regularly at the Sky bar.
Local and imported alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available at the pool bar from approx. 10 AM to 5 PM, at the Sky bar (approx. 8 PM-12 AM), and at the piano bar from approx. 3 PM to 12 AM. Bio & Healthy options are available at the Infinity Pool bar with delicious smoothies and fruit-flavored water. Enjoy delicious cool drinks (iced coffee menu) at the beach bar, which also offers Bulgarian alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, daily from approx. 10 AM to 5 PM. The beach bar also offers a selection of snacks from approx. 12 PM to 5 PM.
Grifid Dine Around Program (reservation required): Various culinary themes including molecular cuisine, fish restaurant, Italian, Bulgarian, Asian, Mongolian, Mediterranean, European, and Rodizio at the 3 GRIFID Hotels Bolero, Metropol, and Vistamar (reservation requested). Additionally, enjoy dinner once per stay at the Sky Restaurant in Vistamar (minimum stay 6 nights, with prior reservation).
Guests can utilize the All-Inclusive service until their transfer pick-up time at all hotels of the GRIFID Hotel Group.

Sports included

Fitness room (free access to the professional fitness studio at the GRIFID Encanto Hotel, approx. 7 minutes' walk along the promenade), boccia, and yoga classes. At Hotel Bolero, there is a multi-purpose sports court for tennis, football, volleyball, and basketball, as well as table tennis, darts, foot-tennis, air rifle shooting, and a selection of board games. Hiking, Nordic walking, and beach walks are also available.
