Location

Quietly located on the green outskirts of Golden Sands, this high-quality hotel from the HVD chain is about 800 meters from the lively beach promenade with its many restaurants and bars, as well as the fine sandy beach. Transfer time from Varna Airport is approximately 40 minutes.

The HVD Viva Club offers its guests a modern and air-conditioned lobby with a reception. Two elevators connect the 8 floors with a total of 260 rooms. The hotel also features a main restaurant, a grill and an Italian à la carte restaurant, and a show stage. The pool area with a separate children's pool, a sun terrace, and a pool bar offers space for relaxation. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and at the hotel's own beach section (subject to availability). The hotel's own beach section is open from June 1st to September 15th (weather permitting). During this period, the hotel offers a shuttle service (included) and there is a beach bar (approx. 10 AM - 5 PM) and a snack bar (approx. 11 AM - 5 PM) at the beach.

Double Room

The tastefully decorated double rooms (approx. 17 sqm) are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, minibar (daily refilled with mineral water, juice, red and white wine, beer, chips, and gummy bears included), coffee capsule machine (daily refilled), centrally controlled air conditioning, satellite TV, a safe (for a fee), and a balcony (D, DI). Also available for single occupancy (DE).

Double Room Superior

The superior double rooms are equipped like the double rooms, but are slightly more spacious (approx. 27 sqm) and have an additional sofa bed (DSU).
(Additionally bookable under VARA01, from Summer 2026 as DZ Deluxe Superior (UD2 ).

Family Room

The family rooms (approx. 36 sqm) offer a large living/sleeping area with a sofa bed (suitable for 2 children) and have 1 bathroom with shower/WC and a separate WC (DF2).

Super Saver Room

The super saver rooms, otherwise equipped like the double rooms, are slightly smaller and located on the first floor facing the park (SSZ).

Apartment without kitchenette

The apartments without kitchenette (approx. 35 sqm) consist of two double rooms (2x shower/WC) with a connecting door (A12).

Both breakfast and late risers' breakfast (until approx. 11 AM) offer a rich buffet with a wide selection and whole grain products.
Lunch and dinner are also served buffet style. 5 theme nights per week (Bulgarian, Italian, Asian, Balkan cuisine, and Seafood night). Weekly gala dinner.
The à la carte restaurants are included once per stay with reservation (minimum stay of 7 days required). A snack bar (at the hotel's own beach section) also offers light meals from approx. 11 AM - 5 PM, as well as coffee/tea, cake, and ice cream.
A wide selection of local and selected international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks such as soft drinks, mineral water, coffee/tea, wine (bottled), beer, cocktails, and long drinks are available daily at the lobby bar (approx. 8 AM - 12 AM) and at the pool bar (approx. 10 AM - 11 PM). June 1st - September 15th and weather permitting: beach bar (10 AM - 5 PM) / snack bar (11 AM - 5 PM).

Sports included

Water polo, water aerobics, aerobics, table tennis, billiards, darts, boccia, fitness room, volleyball, and a multifunctional sports field with artificial turf.

Water sports on the beach offered by private providers.

Children's program

Children's entertainment for ages 4-12, mini disco, playground, children's pool, high chairs, and baby cots. Baby food jars.

Entertainment program in the winter months

Please note that outside the main travel season (especially in April-May and October), hotels and club facilities may slightly reduce their entertainment and leisure programs (e.g., animation, mini club, or water sports activities) as well as the opening hours of restaurants and bars due to the lower number of guests and the changeable weather.
