Location

The first-class Sol Nessebar Resort consists of the two 4-star hotels, Sol Nessebar Bay and Mare, as well as the 5-star Hotel Sol Nessebar Palace (BOJ031). It is located in a quiet bay within expansive grounds and is separated from the beach only by the park area. You can reach the beach via a gently sloping path and stairs. The historic Old Town of Nessebar (a UNESCO World Heritage site), with its numerous shopping and entertainment options, is about 2.5 km away (regular bus service available). The resort town of Sunny Beach is approx. 6 km away, and the transfer from Burgas Airport to the hotel takes about 40 minutes (approx. 30 km).

The family-friendly resort features a total of 990 rooms and suites, spread across 3 buildings (Sol Nessebar Palace, flanked by the two 4-star resort hotels, Sol Nessebar Bay and Mare, which are described here). Each hotel has its own main restaurant, lobby bar, pool with a sun terrace, pool bar, and a dedicated reception (hotel-specific facilities can only be used by guests staying at that respective hotel). Various themed restaurants and bars located throughout the resort—such as the Beer Garden offering traditional German delicacies like sautéed potatoes and sauerkraut, or restaurants serving traditional Italian, Spanish, and Japanese cuisine—are available to all resort guests. Other amenities include a currency exchange, hair salon (for a fee), mini-supermarket, the "Rose" Spa & Relax Center (for a fee), an indoor pool (at Sol Nessebar Palace), a sun terrace (near the beach), and an Aqua Park (open mid-May to end of September, hourly and weather-dependent) featuring the Rocky River slide, as well as children's pools and water slides for the little ones (Geyzir Park for children ages 2-5). Entry to the Aqua Park is included for all resort guests. Sun loungers and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pool of the hotel where you are staying, as well as at the Aqua Park, Geyzir Park, and on the sun terraces above the beach, which offer magnificent sea views. When booking rooms in the Sol Nessebar Bay & Mare complex, room assignment is handled by the hotel management on-site; it is NOT possible to request a specific building in advance.

Double Room Landside

The Double Rooms Landside (approx. 30 m²) are modernly furnished with a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, cable TV, mini-fridge, safe, and a balcony facing the landside (DL). Occupancy 2+2; can also be booked at special discounted rates as DZO. Some rooms are available at special prices in limited allotments as DPI (DZ facing the pool, lower floors, no sea view). Can also be booked for single use or as Single+Child for an additional charge (DEL). The Super Saver Rooms and Promo rooms have similar amenities but are limited in availability and offered at a special price (SSZ, DPI).

Double Room Sea View

The Double Rooms Sea View (approx. 34 m²) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Landside but with an added sea view (DM). Can also be booked for single use or as Single+Child for an additional charge (DEM). Available at special reduced rates during certain periods in limited supply (DMI). Occupancy 2+2 also available at specially discounted rates using room code DMO.

Family Room Sea View

The Family Rooms Sea View (approx. 68 m²) consist of 2 Double Rooms Sea View with a connecting door (F2M).

Double Room Upper Floor Sea View

Exclusive to Schauinsland-Reisen. The Double Rooms Upper Floor Sea View (UPS) feature the same amenities as the Double Rooms Sea View, but are located on the upper floors and offer a magnificent panoramic view of the Black Sea.

Katta's Family Room

The Katta's Family Rooms (approx. 42 m²) are similarly equipped to the Double Rooms Sea View but additionally feature a separate sleeping area for 2 children (approx. 6 m²) with 2 single beds, a small table, and a chair ("room within a room"). These rooms are located in the Mare building and are decorated with cheerful Katta-themed motifs, offering many extras that make the stay a special experience for younger guests (KWF). For a 3rd child, there is a pull-out sofa in the parents' room.

These double rooms are located in less preferred areas, but are otherwise furnished like the Double Rooms Landside.
