Location

The hotel is located directly on the sandy beach of Sri Lanka's east coast. The city center is approx. 6 km away. The transfer time from Colombo International Airport is approx. 6-7 hours by bus. An optional transfer by domestic flight (approx. 45 minutes) to Trincomalee domestic airport, followed by an approx. 25-minute bus ride, can be booked for an additional charge.

The hotel features 150 rooms with a stylish retro design. It offers guests two restaurants, the main restaurant "Captain's Deck" (buffet) and the beach restaurant "The Crab" (à la carte), as well as "The Rum Hold" bar. In the outdoor area, there is a swimming pool with a separate children's pool. Sun loungers and bath towels are available to guests free of charge at the pool and on the beach. Complimentary parasols are also provided on the beach.

The rooms are located in the main building and are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV (Deutsche Welle), telephone, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, safe, and balcony (DSU/DSE).

Beach Chalet

The Beach Chalets have the same facilities as the Superior Rooms and additionally feature a DVD player, bathrobes, slippers, and are located directly on the beach (UH2/UH1).
