Location

Opened in November 2023, SO/Maldives is located in the North Male Atoll and is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches and tropical vegetation. Male Airport is approximately 15 minutes away by speedboat.

Facilities

The modern, colorful resort has a total of 80 villas on land and over the water. Amenities include an open reception area with seating, a souvenir shop, and a boutique. Three restaurants and bars cater to culinary desires, including the "Citronelle Club" restaurant with Asian specialties, the "Lazuli Beach Club" restaurant with exquisite Mediterranean delicacies, and the "Hadaba" restaurant with oriental delights. Sun loungers, cushions, and umbrellas are available free of charge on the beach.

Water Pool Villa

The modernly furnished Water Pool Villa is approx. 120 m² in size, built on stilts over the water, and features an indoor and outdoor shower/WC, bathtub, hairdryer, bathrobes/slippers, air conditioning, TV, minibar (for a fee), tea/coffee making facilities, safe, and a furnished terrace with a private pool. Ocean Water Pool Villa

Lagoon Beach Pool Villa

With the same amenities as the Water Pool Villa, the Lagoon Beach Pool Villa is larger (approx. 228 m²) and additionally features a private garden. (B2E)

Beach Pool Villa

Rich breakfast buffet. Lunch can be taken at either "The Citronelle Club" or "Lazuli" restaurant. Dinner can be enjoyed at "The Citronelle Club", "Hadaba", or "Lazuli" restaurant. Additionally, selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (soft drinks, fresh juices, tea, coffee, beer, wine, and cocktails) are included from 10 AM to midnight at the open bar. The minibar is refilled daily with water, soft drinks, juices, beer, wine, and snacks.

Speedboat: Operation for expected arrivals/departures from 5 AM to 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operation for arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation for arrivals/departures from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 stopovers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or extended waiting times for entry (in these cases, our local agency will arrange any necessary overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on island location), and currently most domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be required.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two Queen/King size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available in total.
