Location

The SO/Maldives, opened in November 2023, is located in the North Malé Atoll and is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches and tropical vegetation. Malé Airport is approximately 15 minutes away by speedboat.

Facilities

The modern, colorful resort has a total of 80 villas on land and over the water. Amenities include an open reception area with seating, a souvenir shop, and a boutique. For culinary delights, there are three restaurants and bars. Among them is the "Citronelle Club" restaurant with Asian specialties, the "Lazuli Beach Club" restaurant with exquisite Mediterranean delicacies, and the "Hadaba" restaurant with oriental treats. Sun loungers, cushions, and umbrellas are available free of charge on the beach.

The modernly furnished Water Pool Villa is approx. 120 sqm, built on stilts over the water, and features an indoor and outdoor shower/WC, bathtub, hairdryer, bathrobes/slippers, air conditioning, TV, minibar (for a fee), tea/coffee making facilities, safe, and a furnished terrace with a private pool. Ocean Water Pool Villa

With the same amenities as the Water Pool Villa, the Lagoon Beach Pool Villa is larger (approx. 228 sqm) and additionally features a private garden. (B2E)

Speedboat: Operation for estimated arrival/departure from 5 AM to 11 PM // Domestic (flight): Operation for arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation for arrivals/departures from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 stops.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or longer waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Malé may be necessary.
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), and currently most domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé may be required.
