Location

The Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, newly opened in June 2019, is located in the North Male Atoll on an island that is 490m long and 132m wide, featuring beautiful white sandy beaches and tropical vegetation. Due to the short transfer times and the diverse leisure activities on the island, it is perfect for Maldives first-timers, honeymooners, and families. Male Airport is approximately a 15-minute speedboat ride away.

The modern resort, in the style of Hard Rock Hotels, features a total of 178 rooms and villas on land and over water. Amenities include an open reception area with a front desk, a souvenir shop, and a boutique. For dining, there is the all-day dining restaurant "Sessions" with international cuisine, a specialty restaurant "The Elephant and The Butterfly" with international and Mexican cuisine, the typical "Hard Rock Café" with international cuisine, and a pool bar. The infinity pool invites you to relax and unwind, with sun loungers, cushions, and umbrellas available free of charge. Further entertainment options are located on the island of "Marina," which is approximately 500m away and accessible via a jetty. "Marina" features a beach club, a duty-free shop, the Maldives Discovery Center, a marina, various restaurants, and much more.

Silver Sky Studio

The studios are approximately 46 sqm, located on the upper floor, and feature a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/WC, bathrobe/slippers, cosmetic mirror, hairdryer, signature toiletries, air conditioning, ceiling fan, 43-inch LCD TV with IPTV, soundbar, safe, minibar (for a fee), tea/coffee maker, a furnished balcony, and sea view.

With the same amenities and size, these rooms are located on the ground floor and feature a furnished terrace.

Beach Villa

Similar to the Silver Sky Studios, but larger at approx. 62 sqm, additionally featuring a sofa and a furnished terrace (from April 1, 2022, also bookable with a private pool for an extra charge).

Speedboat: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or for longer waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), as well as currently most domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be required.
