Location

The Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, newly opened in June 2019, is located in the North Male Atoll on an island that is 490m long and 132m wide, featuring beautiful white sandy beaches and tropical vegetation. Due to the short transfer times and the diverse leisure activities on the island, it is perfect for Maldives first-timers, honeymooners, and families. Male Airport is approximately 15 minutes away by speedboat.

The modern resort, in the style of Hard Rock Hotels, offers a total of 178 rooms and villas on land and overwater. Amenities include an open reception area with a reception desk, a souvenir shop, and a boutique. For dining, there is the all-day dining restaurant "Sessions" serving international cuisine, a specialty restaurant "The Elephant and The Butterfly" offering international and Mexican cuisine, the iconic "Hard Rock Café" with international cuisine, and the pool bar. The infinity pool invites you to relax and unwind, with sun loungers, cushions, and umbrellas available free of charge. Further entertainment options are located on the island "Marina," approximately 500m away via a jetty. The "Marina" features a beach club, a duty-free shop, the Maldives Discovery Center, a marina, various restaurants, and much more.

Silver Sky Studio

The studios are approximately 46 sqm, located on the upper floor, and feature a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/WC, bathrobe/slippers, cosmetic mirror, hairdryer, signature toiletries, air conditioning, ceiling fan, 43-inch LCD TV with IPTV, soundbar, safe, minibar (for a fee), tea/coffee maker, furnished balcony, and sea view.

Silver Beach Studio

With the same amenities and size, these rooms are located on the ground floor and feature a furnished terrace.

Beach Villa

Similar to the Silver Sky Studios, but larger at approximately 62 sqm, they additionally feature a sofa and a furnished terrace (private pool available from April 1st, 2022, for an extra charge).

Speedboat: Scheduled for estimated arrival/departure from 5 AM to 11 PM // Domestic (domestic flight): Scheduled for estimated arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4 PM // Seaplane: Scheduled for estimated arrivals/departures from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 stopovers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Malé must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or extended waiting times for entry (in such cases, our local agency will arrange for a possible overnight stay).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), and currently usually domestic flights as well, are only operated during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé may be necessary.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be a total of 1 or 2 large beds available. Accordingly, it may happen that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, a child has to sleep in the parents' bed.
