Location

Angaga Island Resort & Spa is located on a lushly vegetated island in the southern part of Ari Atoll, surrounded by white sandy beaches and crystal-clear lagoon. The house reef, just approx. 7-8 m from the beach, offers excellent conditions for snorkeling and diving. The transfer time from Male International Airport by seaplane is approx. 25 minutes.

This small holiday paradise offers a total of 94 rooms on land and on stilts over the water. The resort's amenities, popular not only with regular guests, include an open reception area, a library, and a souvenir shop. For culinary delights in a relaxed atmosphere, there is a buffet restaurant, the main bar, a sunset bar, and a coffee shop. Sun loungers and beach towels are available on the island free of charge.

Superior Beach Bungalow

The Superior Beach Bungalows are 45 m² in size, have been freshly renovated, and feature a bathroom with bathtub, separate shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic products, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), tea/coffee maker, satellite TV, safe, telephone, and a furnished terrace with sea view (SBU/SBE/SB3).

Superior Water Bungalow

With the same amenities but slightly larger (approx. 65 m²), these rooms are built over the water and additionally feature a glass-bottomed table and direct sea access (WB2/WB3). Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Premium Water Bungalow

The Premium Water Bungalows are newly built and offer more space with the same amenities (approx. 78 m², WR2/WR3). Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Meals

HP/VP/HP+/AI

Half Board (HP) includes breakfast and dinner in buffet style. Full Board (VP) additionally includes lunch. With Half Board Plus (HP+), guests receive breakfast and dinner in buffet style, plus a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 8 AM to midnight. Furthermore, HP+ includes a half-day snorkeling excursion by Dhoni per person. (Snorkeling equipment included).

All Inclusive

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Snacks are available from 10 AM to 11:30 AM and from 3 PM to 5 PM. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (mineral water, soft drinks, fruit juices, coffee, tea, beer, house wine, selected cocktails, and various spirits) are served by the glass at the bar from 8 AM to midnight. In addition to All Inclusive, guests receive complimentary snorkeling equipment and one half-day snorkeling excursion per person/stay.

Speedboat: Operation expected for arrivals/departures between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operation expected for arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfers are possible.
Seaplane transfers may involve 1-2 intermediate stops.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. The costs for this are to be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or extended immigration waiting times (in these cases, our local agency will arrange for an overnight stay if necessary).
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), and currently often domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available in total.
