Location

Angaga Island Resort & Spa is located on a lush island in the southern part of Ari Atoll, surrounded by white sandy beaches and a crystal-clear lagoon. The house reef, only about 7-8 meters from the beach, offers excellent conditions for snorkeling and diving. The transfer time from Male International Airport by seaplane is approximately 25 minutes.

The small holiday paradise offers a total of 94 rooms on land and on stilts over the water. The resort, popular not only with regular guests, includes an open reception area, a library, and a souvenir shop. For culinary delights in a casual atmosphere, there is a buffet restaurant, the main bar, a sunset bar, and a coffee shop. Sun loungers and beach towels are available free of charge on the island.

Superior Beach Bungalow

The Superior Beach Bungalows are 45 square meters in size, freshly renovated, and feature a bathroom with a bathtub, separate shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic articles, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), tea/coffee maker, satellite TV, safe, telephone, and a furnished terrace with sea view (SBU/SBE/SB3).

Superior Water Bungalow

With the same amenities, but slightly larger (approx. 65 sqm), the rooms are built over the water and additionally feature a glass-bottom table and direct sea access (WB2/WB3).

Premium Water Bungalow

The Premium Water Bungalows are newly built and, with the same amenities, offer more space (approx. 78 sqm, WR2/WR3).

Board

HB/FB/HB+/AI

With Half Board booked, breakfast and dinner are served buffet-style. With Full Board booked, lunch is also included. With Half Board+ booked, guests receive breakfast and dinner buffet-style and additionally between 8 AM and 0 AM, a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Furthermore, HP+ includes a half-day snorkeling trip with a Dhoni (including snorkeling equipment).

All Inclusive

All Inclusive

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet-style. Snacks from 10 AM to 11:30 AM and from 3 PM to 5 PM. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (mineral water, soft drinks, fruit juices, coffee, tea, beer, house wine, selected cocktails, and various spirits) are served by the glass at the bar from 8 AM to 0 AM. In addition to All Inclusive, guests receive complimentary snorkeling equipment and one half-day snorkeling trip per person/stay.

Hotel-independent transfer information:
Speedboat: Operation for approx. arrival/departure from 5 AM to 11 PM // Domestic (internal flight): Operation for approx. arrival/departure from 9:30 AM to 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrival/departure from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfer, there may be 1-2 intermediate landings.
For arrivals/departures outside the times mentioned above, in case of bad weather or longer waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) and currently mostly domestic flights are only operated during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be required.

The luggage limit for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess luggage must be paid for on site (approx. USD 5 per kg). Excess luggage will usually be delivered later by boat.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may be a total of only 1 or 2 large beds available. Consequently, it may happen that for 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, a child has to sleep in the parents' bed.
