Location

The Angaga Island Resort & Spa is located on a lush island in the southern part of the Ari Atoll, surrounded by white sandy beaches and a crystal-clear lagoon. The house reef, just about 7-8 meters from the beach, offers excellent conditions for snorkeling and diving. The transfer time from Male International Airport by seaplane is approximately 25 minutes.

This small holiday paradise offers a total of 94 rooms on land and over the water. The resort, popular not only with regular guests, includes amenities such as an open reception area, a library, and a souvenir shop. For dining in a casual atmosphere, there is a buffet restaurant, the main bar, a sunset bar, and a coffee shop. Sun loungers and beach towels are available free of charge on the island.

Superior Beach Bungalow

The Superior Beach Bungalows are 45 sqm in size, freshly renovated, and feature a bathroom with bathtub, separate shower/toilet, hairdryer, cosmetic products, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), tea/coffee maker, satellite TV, safe, telephone, and a furnished terrace with sea view (SBU/SBE/SB3).

Superior Water Bungalow

With the same amenities, but slightly larger (approx. 65 sqm), these rooms are built over the water and additionally feature a table with a glass floor and direct sea access (WB2/WB3).

Premium Water Bungalow

The Premium Water Bungalows are newly built and, with the same amenities, offer more space (approx. 78 sqm, WR2/WR3).

HP/VP/HP+/AI

Half Board includes breakfast and dinner in buffet style. Full Board includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Half Board+ includes breakfast and dinner in buffet style, plus a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from 8 AM to midnight. Additionally, HP+ includes a half-day snorkeling excursion with a Dhoni (snorkeling equipment included).

All Inclusive

All Inclusive

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Snacks from 10-11:30 AM and 3-5 PM. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (mineral water, soft drinks, fruit juices, coffee, tea, beer, house wine, selected cocktails, and various spirits) are served by the glass at the bar from 8 AM to midnight. In addition to All Inclusive, guests receive complimentary snorkeling equipment and a half-day snorkeling excursion per person/stay.

Transfer information independent of the hotel:
Speedboat: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 stopovers.
For arrivals/departures outside the times mentioned above, due to bad weather, or long waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location), as well as currently most domestic flights, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be required.

The luggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on-site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat later.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may be only 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Accordingly, it is possible that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in a room, a child may have to sleep in the parents' bed.
