Location

The island, measuring approximately 750 x 290 m with about 2 km of white sandy beach, is located in the still largely unspoiled Raa Atoll. The house reef is about 80 m to 250 m away. Excellent diving and snorkeling areas can be reached quickly by boat. The transfer time from the airport is approx. 20 minutes by domestic flight to Dharavandoo Island Airport and a further 40-45 minutes by speedboat. The transfer time from Malé International Airport by seaplane is approx. 45 minutes (can be booked at an additional cost).

Facilities

The popular resort promises a holiday in a casual atmosphere. It has a total of 211 rooms, which are distributed in chalets around the island. Further facilities include a reception, an internet corner, and a shopping arcade with a souvenir shop. Culinary delights await the guest in the main and à-la-carte restaurants as well as in the Café Mass Bar. Three bars serve cool refreshments. Near the beach, there is a large swimming pool with a pool bar and terrace. Sun loungers and bath towels are included at the pool and on the beach.

Beach Villa

The Beach Villas (approx. 51 m²) are grouped along the island coast. They are generously designed and feature a semi-open bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, safe and minibar, as well as a furnished wooden terrace facing the sea (2BV/1BV, as type I with the same amenities (EE1/EE2)).

Deluxe Beach Villa

Modernly designed with the same amenities and size as the Beach Villa (D2V/D1V). Also bookable as type I room, same amenities (HR1/HR2). Also bookable on the sunset side for an additional charge (S2V, or as type I with the same amenities (NI2)).

Jacuzzi Beach Villa

Equipped as the Deluxe Beach Villa and additionally with a whirlpool (J2Y).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential hazard for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children for bookings of these room types.
