Location

The Baros Maldives, designed in a traditional style, is located on a private luxury island, approximately 16 km from the capital Malé. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel, guests will find dreamlike beaches, turquoise waters, and a house reef for an all-around luxurious beach holiday. The island is situated amidst a lagoon, protected by an impressive coral reef that surrounds the resort and offers excellent snorkeling and diving opportunities. The surrounding tropical natural beauty promises peace and relaxation. The international airport (MLE) is approximately 26 km away.

Facilities

The resort, equipped with 75 exclusive and high-quality villas and suites, offers comfort and luxury at the highest level and places great emphasis on sustainability. Guests are welcomed at the reception and in the lobby area with a welcome drink. Furthermore, the resort boasts air conditioning, an elevator, a shop, and a currency exchange facility. Exquisite, delicious dishes and refreshing drinks are served in the "Lighthouse" and "Lime" restaurants (à la carte), as well as at the "Cayenne Grill". For an evening sundowner, the "Sails" bar or "Lighthouse Lounge" await guests with creative cocktails. Upon request and for an additional charge, the hotel can also arrange a romantic private dinner on the beach. An outdoor pool provides additional refreshment on hot, sunny days. The "Serenity Spa" offers the greatest possible relaxation for body and mind with soothing massages and treatments. For a bit more action, the Baros Marine Center offers snorkeling and water sports activities, a PADI dive center, or a boat trip with dolphin watching or during a dreamlike sunset.

Deluxe Beach Villa - Speedboat

The compact and comfortable Deluxe Beach Villa is surrounded by golden sandy beaches and a lush jungle canopy. A king-size bed, an open-air bathroom with a rain shower and a freestanding bathtub, and sun loungers complete the villa's amenities. From the veranda, there is direct access to the lagoon. Additionally, there is a small flower garden and a cozy reading corner (approx. 89m², D2V).

Water Villa - Speedboat

The Water Villa, decorated in the island's typical style, stands on wooden stilts directly in the water and offers an exclusive private retreat. From the wooden deck with a covered daybed, direct access to the lagoon invites a jump into the cool water. Additionally, the Water Villa features a cozy sleeping and dining area, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, sun loungers, and a beautiful bathroom with a bathtub and shower (approx. 92m², W2V).

Water Villa with Private Pool - Speedboat

With similar comfort and amenities as the Water Villa, this one also features a private pool with sparkling blue water and impresses with its elegant and comfortable interior furnishings, partly made of teak wood (approx. 126m², WVP).

Baros Villa - Speedboat

The Baros Villa, designed in a traditional style with a lot of wood, impresses with a wooden deck close to the lagoon, tea and coffee making facilities, a spacious veranda with direct beach access, sun loungers in a clearing with its own straw umbrella, a large king-size bed, a seating area, and an open-air bathroom with a shower. The Baros Villa also has a flower garden and a reading corner (approx. 103m², V2).

Baros Villa with Private Pool - Speedboat

While otherwise similarly equipped to the Baros Villa, this villa also offers a private infinity pool and a seating area on the veranda, and is slightly more spacious (approx. 134m², 2IO).

Speedboat: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer may occur.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 stopovers.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or longer waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Malé may be required.
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on island location) and currently usually domestic flights are only operated during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé may be necessary.
