Location

Kurumba Maldives (approx. 500 x 300 m) is located on the southern edge of the North Male Atoll, boasting a large lagoon with crystal-clear water and white, gently sloping beaches. The house reef is directly by the island. The main island of Male is not far away, with a speedboat transfer time of just 10 minutes.

Facilities

The hotel was one of the first resorts in the Maldives, and therefore impresses with many years of experience and a high standard of service. The warm hospitality is not only popular with regular customers. The resort has 180 rooms spread across the entire island. Amenities include a reception area with a seating area, a small boutique, a souvenir shop, a jeweler, and an internet corner. For culinary delights, there are 6 à la carte restaurants (Middle Eastern, Thai, Indian, Japanese, and international cuisine, as well as fish/seafood) and a buffet/main restaurant with international delicacies. Cool refreshments and delicious cocktails are served at a total of 3 bars and a shisha lounge. In the lushly planted garden, 2 pools with sun loungers and a children's pool invite you to relax and unwind. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are available free of charge.

Superior Double

The Superior rooms, approx. 74 sq m, feature a queen-size bed, air conditioning and ceiling fan, safe (included), satellite TV, bathroom with bathtub and shower, bathrobes, hairdryer, outdoor shower, and minibar (for a fee), as well as a coffee/tea maker. The rooms have a balcony or terrace.

Deluxe Bungalow

With the same size as the Superior rooms, featuring a king-size bed and a veranda with a seating area.

Beachfront Deluxe Bungalow

With the same amenities and size as the Deluxe Bungalows, plus direct beach access.

Garden Pool Villa

At approx. 124 sq m, these villas are nestled in the tropical garden and additionally feature a living area with a seating area and a second TV (with sliding door), as well as a private pool with sun loungers.

Beach Villa

The approx. 103 sq m Beach Villas offer similar amenities to the Garden Pool Villas, with the additional feature of an outdoor jacuzzi.

Deluxe Pool Villa

With similar amenities to the Beach Villas, these are more spacious (approx. 160 sq m) and additionally feature a large veranda with a seating area and a private pool with sun loungers and a Balinese bed (these rooms do not have a jacuzzi).

All meals are served buffet-style in the main restaurant. With full board booked (only available until January 10, 2024), a selection of drinks is included with lunch and dinner.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style in the main restaurant. Snacks are available during the day, and coffee/cake in the afternoon. Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are served by the glass from 10 am to 1 am at the bars that are open. Guests also receive a 50% discount on meals in the à la carte restaurants (reservations required).

Windsurfing, surfing, wakeboarding, and fishing, as well as all motorized water sports. PADI dive center and snorkeling excursions.

Speedboat: Operates approximately for arrivals/departures between 5 am and 11 pm // Domestic flight: Operates approximately for arrivals/departures between 9:30 am and 4 pm // Seaplane: Operates approximately for arrivals/departures between 9 am and 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1-2 stopovers on seaplane transfers.
If arrival/departure is outside the times mentioned above, in case of bad weather or long waiting times for immigration, an overnight stay in Male may be required.
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on island location) and currently usually domestic flights only operate during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
