Location

The Hondaafushi Island Resort is located in the northern, still largely untouched Haa Dhaalu Atoll. The tropical coral island (2000 m x 500 m) is surrounded by a wonderfully spacious, white sandy beach and a dreamlike lagoon with turquoise water. The island is characterized by its natural flora and fauna. The transfer time is approximately 50 minutes by domestic flight from Malé Airport to Hanimadhoo or Kulhuduffushi Airport, followed by a 10-30 minute speedboat transfer. All guests have access to the VIP lounge Moonimaa before flying to Hanimadhoo or Kulhuduffushi.

The barefoot resort in Maldivian style features detached bungalows that blend harmoniously with nature and are located in the northeastern beach area of the island. Amenities include a reception area with an open reception and seating, as well as a small library. The main restaurant with a sandy floor is located directly on the beach, offers a magnificent view of the lagoon, and serves international cuisine. At the northern tip of the island, you'll find the swimming pool with a small separate children's pool and a sun terrace. The "Thila" pool bar also invites you for refreshing drinks and small snacks. It's the ideal place to reflect on the day while watching the sunset. Sunbeds, beach towels, and umbrellas are available free of charge in limited quantities by the pool and on the beach.

The modernly furnished bungalows (approx. 56 m² including outdoor area) feature a semi-open bathroom with rain shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, safe, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, and a furnished terrace facing the sea with direct beach access. (SBE/SBU/SB3) Also bookable on the sunset side. (SS2)

The Deluxe Beach Bungalows, with the same amenities, are more spacious (approx. 89 m² including outdoor area) and additionally feature a capsule coffee machine (capsules for a fee) and a bathtub in the semi-open bathroom. (D11/D12/D13)
